NukeHeads Grow Series Conclusion

Curing + Smoke Review of Nukeheads Buds

What up GreenBox Growers, and welcome back for the most lit cannabis growing Channel! Not today you guys are in for a really exciting video because I'm going to be harvesting as well as drying curing and doing a smoke review for those plants that I did for the NukeHeads grow series. So there are six plants in that tent, three different strains all by NukeHeads Genetics. I had the Pineapple Chunk, then the Grape Ape, and then finally we had the Zkittles. so I will be doing a smoke review for each one of those strains and also I will be showing you guys the harvesting, drying, and curing process.

Now before I get started with two days video I do want to remind you guys that we are still offering that two-week free trial to our entire video library of step by step grow videos. And you can check that out at the link right here on your screen. All you have to do is hit that subscribe button on the videos on that page, fill out the form and then that will automatically sign you up for that two-week free trial. Which you can cancel at anytime before being charged. All right so now that you guys know what we are doing in two days of video, let's get started with some clips from the harvesting and trimming process.

Alright GreenBox Growers, so we are just about finished with the Harvest here of the NukeHeads plants.  And I am just trimming up the last of the Zkittles plant. So we've got a lot of nice popcorn buds here of the Zkittles plant, As well as a big main color that I'm going to trim for you. And then I'm going to run the popcorn buds through the bowl trimmer right here so you guys can see that process. So let's get started with that!

Alright so I just completed the entire harvesting process for all six of the plants. So you will see that we've got all the big-name colas trimmed and hung up here up either by the frame of the tent or buy some twine that I strung up there. And then down here we have the net tray or the hanging drying racks. And that is for the popcorn buds, you will see we've got them all separated out by there different strains. And then of course we've got the date on here which of course is August 6th so that way I know how many days all of these guys have been in here and then also for the buds up top I've got them listed by strain as well.

So I've got about 5 rows deep of Bud, four to five rows deep and you can see they are all just really solid massive buds all the way through top to bottom. And most of them are about 12 to 18 in in length with pretty much just solid nug all the way up and down. So definitely over a pound I would say in terms of the yield. We will be doing a weighing at the end of this video. But so yeah that is just pretty much it for the drying process so I will be checking these guys out throughout the next few days.

The buds that are drying, the popcorn buds that are on the drying rack will probably be done in 2 to 3 days, maybe four. But they dry a lot faster on here just because there is more air and there are smaller Buds. And then up here the, the big buds that are hanging, these guys we will be checking on them each day just to keep an eye out but it's probably just going to be 5 to 7 days before they are ready to harvest, or I'm sorry before they are ready to come down and go into the jars. Now for more details on the trimming as well as drying and curing process, you can check out our intro to Growing section.

We are very detailed instructions on that but basically for hang drying the buds. You want to bend the branches that they are on every couple of days. And once those branches make a popping or cracking sound when you bend them, that is what how you know when they are ready to go into the jars for curing. So I'm going to let these ladies dry until they are ready to cure, and then I will be back here to show you guys that I'm going into the jars as well as a little smoke review where we test some of the buds. Alright peace Growers!

Alright GreenBox Growers, so we are back here 7 days later after I hung up the buds to dry. And you can see we have the buds from the mother plant and cloning groceries in here. Those are the Lemoncello Haze, and those are just getting up here they were hung about 2 days ago so they are not ready yet to come down. But the rest of the buds from the NukeHeads series are now ready. So I just want to give you guys a quick look at the colas while they were still hanging up here in the tent. And then as well as the popcorn at buds. So what I'm going to do is take the popcorn buds down first and then I'll put them on the trays here by strain. And then I will go upstairs and jar them and I will show you guys that process. So let me get all these buds down and then I will meet you guys upstairs.

So we are upstairs in the bedroom and this is where I will be jarring the buds for the curing process. Now first I wanted to mention so the way to tell when the popcorn buds are ready to come off of the drying that if you have them on one of those hang dry Nets. As you want to feel the buds and want it feels a little bit crispy or a little bit crunchy on the outside. That is when you want to take it down and jar it for the curing process. Now for those buds that are hanging on the branch from the top of the grow tent.

You want to bend the branches on those and once you start hearing a cracking or popping sound when you bend it, that is when they are ready to come down and cure for that process. So we've got here the Grape Ape, Pineapple Chunk, and Zkittles popcorn Buds and I think my favorite and what looks like him out the best is the Grape Ape. And what I will be doing is putting them in the jars with a Boveda humidity pack And again these are the eight gram 62% packs and I recommend using quart-sized mason jars with these packs. Or with this size package.

So with that setup you can get about an ounce into each jar with each packet. So first off for the popcorn but even though it is good quality, I'm most likely going to just be making concentrate and extracts out of it. So I will be doing probably some bubble hash and rosin with these which I will have videos coming out with soon enough. But anyways here is the first jar I have set up for the popcorn bud. And you will see it says Grape Ape on there, you want to have the straight name of course and then you want the date going into the bud so you can keep track of where you are in terms of the curing process.

So today is August 13th and then I also marked on their popcorn just so I know that I am going to use these for extracts. So once in the jar and I recommend about an ounce per quart sized mason jar, but once in there you are going to be burping them for about 15 minutes each day for the first two weeks. So by burping for those of you who don't know, that just means taking the lid off and leaving it off for that duration of time and then once you put the lid back on you want to be storing these jars in a cool dark place. So I actually use an empty dresser or an empty drawer in my dresser and that is where I keep my jars for the curing process. So after that first two weeks you are going to do 15 minutes every other day, and that will be for another. So after that first month of the curing process, all you will be doing is burping them once a day or I'm sorry once a week for about 15 minutes.

And then you do just about that pretty much until you have run out of the bud and have smoked all of it. And you can do that for long-term storage as well. So definitely recommend a humidity pack like these boveda ones though if you are doing long-term and even for short term. Because if you do over dry the buds, they will make sure to rehydrate them and bring them back to good quality. And then of course if you Stop drying them too soon it is going to prevent any mold from happening and then of course what is really cool as it brings out the flavor of the bud a lot more. So I am going to start putting these Grape Ape buds, let me give you a close up first with the popcorn buds.

I am going to be putting those into their jar first. And then I'll give you guys a little zoomed in shot here. Pretty Frosty and they still smell really good, very dank smell. Not super sweet but again these buds never were on the sweet side and we do have some good size nugs and here just like these right here this one right here. So I'm just going to good focused shot on those. So yeah what I like to do is fill the jar with bud about halfway and then I take my humidity pack and stick it in there. Reason being is you want the humidity pack, you don't want just sitting on the very top or bottom of the jar, you want it to be right in the middle of all of those buds so that it has a chance to do its thing and it is not just working on the top or bottom portion of the jar.

It's evenly spread throughout all of it so about halfway filled there and then I'm just going to put this in, slide it and leave it kind of standing up in the middle there. And now I'm going to fill the rest of the way. Now also I will be doing a smoke review on these buds pretty soon here but once they are in the jars I'm going to let them cure for 4 to 5 days and then I will be back to test them out for you guys. It is a good idea to let them cure and the jars close to a week before you start smoking them. I mean they will just get better and better with time during that cure process. But if you are eager to get smoking you can do that once they are in the jars for a few days.

So this is looking like it's going to be a nice ass or a little bit more than an ounce and hear of the Grape Ape popcorn buds. So there you go that is pretty much and I will be wearing these out a little bit later on in this video, I just want to get them Jarred up first for you guys so you can see how this is done. And then I will be taking them out and Wing them, so that is what I will be doing for the rest of the popcorn buds hear that you see and then I'm going to be back here once I have the colas taken down and it is time to clip them off the branch and jar those.

So I just finished jarring up all of the popcorn buds for curing and now I'm going to do the main buds that are still on the branch. So I just wanted to show you guys really quick before I do that some little close ups on them. Right over here are the Grape Ape Buds, and these are again looking the best in my opinion. The most Frosty and densest buds in the group. And also the most plentiful. But then right here we have the pineapple chunk, and then right here we have the Zkittles.  So same idea, you are going to be burping them with the same steps as I was explaining for the popcorn buds, the only difference is when clipping them off of the branch which is something you want to do when putting them in the jar.

You just want to make sure that you clip a ride up to the nug or the base of the nug. Because you don't really want to leave an extra stem and there are extra bit of the stem. So that there is some hanging off, you just want to clip it right at the base of that nug and then put it right in the jar with that humidity pack. And again you want to do about an ounce per mason jar if you are using the quart sized jar. So now I'm going to put these in all of the jars with these humidity packs and get them wait out. And then I will be back here to show you guys the final weight with all of the budget together.

Alright GreenBox Growers, everything is finished being trimmed up and all of the popcorn buds as well as the main buds from the colas are in the jars. So I weighed everything out and I do have the individual weights listed on the jars, but you will see we have about 15 jars total of solid Bud here and it weighed out to just over a pound. So it was just over 16 and a half ounces. So very stoked on that and you can see in my opinion The Grape Ape is what came out in the best quality. So very excited to test that out.

But the Skittles and the Pineapple Chunk definitely came in a close second. So give you guys A nice little pic of that Frosty nug right there of the great ape. And so now what I am going to do is put these in a cool dark drawer where I keep them for storage and I am going to be burping them for the next two weeks for 15 minutes every day Like I was telling you guys. But I will be back here in probably like 4 days after I do some curing to do that smoke review. So I will see you guys back here then.

All right folks oh now it is time for that smoke review you have all been waiting for, so we are going to be reviewing the Grape Ape, the pineapple chunk and then of course the Skittles. And we've got our clean little Stratus bong right here. And we are also going to be giving you guys some background info on their genetics, how they grew, we've got the Leafly page right here for each string. And we will just be laying off some details on them while we are smoking. So we are going to start with the Grape Ape today, and these are all the jars that I just harvested and these are the bud. Not the popcorn buds. So these are going to be the nice stuff. So Claire if you want to grind some up just a little bit as well be taking some snaps from our bong in a second. And then while she is doing that I will give you guys some info on The Grape Ape strain.

So first off this is a strain that was first propagated by Barney's Farm, and it is a mostly Indica strain. So it is Indica dominant of course, and I am sure we will notice those effects and just a second here. It is a cross between the Mendocino purps skunk as well as Afghani and it is named because of its grape-like smell. I can definitely tell you guys that from smelling it and just from the growing process, I would definitely say I could tell there is a hint of grape in there. Yeah and even  if you look at some of the buds they're pretty purple. So yeah there's a lot of purple We've noticed that, I had definitely had two different phenotypes when growing this. And both of them ended up having purple in it.

One more than the other. And what was interesting as one of them it was believed that start turning purple first while the other one didn't really get any purple in the leaves at all. So with the Grape Apes on the leafly page, for it's a fax it is mainly a relaxed sleepy and happy type of high which is pretty much normal for an Indica dominant strain. For medical it says it is great for relieving stress and helping with insomnia as well as pain. And then it also has depression and lack of appetite on there as well. Now to compare, so now here's the info that they have on here. So again this train came from NukeHeads genetics. But again it was started by Barney's farm. So on the grow info here on Leafly it says it is a really easy strain to grow and I definitely agree with that.

For height it has about 30 in to 78 in and for the two phenotypes that I grew they both got really tall so that again would work accordingly. You can start off with the first one, free deal that says about 3 to 6 ounces per square foot, I had two plants that I would say gave me about together a quarter pound of this total yield. And those each were taking up about I would say about two square feet each maybe three. So that is pretty accurate in terms of that as well. For flowering time 7 to 9 weeks, I would say these ones were a little on the shorter side compared to that and then it says less than 100% for the stretch.

So I would say these guys stretched a pretty good amount during that flowering phase but nothing crazy. Now for the flavors that says grape, sweet as well as earthy and yeah that pretty much, let me see if there's a little bit more Up here, yeah that is pretty much it. So now that you have taken a hit what would you say. I left you some green there, so you can definitely add to the greens. I love this train personally I love Indica dominant strains just because that's what I find the best for me. And I find it really dance really sticky and smells good and it is pretty smooth. So I overall love Grape Ape and I actually got it in that lot of concentrates as well. Yeah definitely, really smooth I can tell right away and instant right here at the top of my head I can feel that just like that warm fuzzy feeling. So definitely a strong indica.

Again really purple in the buds, really tight in Frosty Buds and you can see here I don't have a close up but I will in a second are on the screen. You can see the ash is starting to turn white or a grayish color which is a sign that it was properly flushed. So to compare it, so for the growing that they have on Leafly or the info about it and how it grows I would say it is pretty accurate. And same with the flavors. I don't have as much of a sweet taste in this one's I would say but they do have that grape smell. But definitely the earthy taste. And yeah now that I have had a second for that to kind of settle and I can feel it kind of just spreading to the rest of my head and kind of right behind my eyes. It is a very relaxed feeling and definitely an Indica standard. Yeah it definitely is a body for me so.

What about for The Taste what would you say, I would say the Grape and the earthy I think sweet might come from the smell more is why they're saying that. Because it does smell pretty sweet to me. But overall I feel like in my eyes in the back Of my eyes like you said and then I feel it more than my body then I do my head but I mean that is why I like Indica for that reason. It does do that as well. So overall it is great and I mean I love Grape Ape. I think it is great Buds and very strong so that is the other thing I was really stoked when I saw a NukeHeads was carrying the strain because you don't see it on a lot of seed bank site so whenever I see it available I definitely pick it up right away and I was stoked on how these guys turned out. And it was a breeze growing them not difficult at all. So that pretty much concluded the review there for the Grape Ape.

So now we are going to move on to the Pineapple Chunk here. And again this is the buds not the popcorn buds. So yeah we're just going to empty out the grinder into these leftover glass jars we've got here from the dispensary some pretty cool jars here. And then yeah let me get the Pineapple Chunk info so this is actually another Barney's Farm strain which is pretty cool, got the genetics are the seeds from NukeHeads as well. so yeah Indica dominant or an Indica hybrid that produces a heavy full body effect in a fast-paced had Buzz. So we are about to find out about that and it combines a cheese and skunk number 1 crossed with the  Barney's pineapple. And you can almost smell its lineage through some of the Tangy skunk, or the cheese as well as that sweet pineapple smell. So let's see, you are definitely smell in this one.

So yeah a lot higher pitched it's not as earthy or like this one you can smell the sweetness for sure. Yeah that smells nice almost like a Jack Herer smell in my opinion. So effects super happy relaxed and uplifting. It also has focused and euphoric on there as the lower two. And then it doesn't have any info on there from growing but my experience from growing The Strain it was actually very similar to The Grape Ape.  It grew pretty tall and leggy it had really dense and big cola's. One thing that was different though just the way the buds finished, they were not as purple and the hairs didn't curl and tighten up as much so it was still kind of dense bud but not as dense and frosty as the great babe I would say.

Still smells really good it is still a really good deal there but it was easy to grow. But I would say it was more of a moderate to intermediate to moderate strain to grow not super easy to grow. Good year older as I was just saying, I think I was saying a hosted about five or six jars so about 6 oz of this I would have to double check on that. But the parent strains are pineapple, cheese and then skunk number 1. And then four flavors of course it has pineapple cheese and sweet. So I actually haven't tried the strangest yet so let's see how this is. Nice thank you for packing that.

Even my hands and my fingers are sticky from the pineapple chalk and it is funny because it is not as visible but when you actually hold the Bud from The Pineapple Chunk, it is pretty Frosty. So you are very sweet taste as well not just the smell and you can really taste on the exhale there and it's almost like it's in my nose with the smell as well. It is a lot like that similar smell as the Jack Herer I've noticed, just a very bubble gum smell almost type of scent. Smooth hit, I do feel the body High pretty quickly though not as strong on the head though as the grape ape was. But still very strong.

I definitely taste the cheese, yeah, well I didn't actually get the cheese but I did get the sweet and a little bit I think more like a bubble gum smell. I definitely feel it like in my eyes in my head more. But I think it is a great strain and I think that the I think that it's a great strain and I think that the smells great and I think I got the Cheese smell which is funny because I've never thought of cheese. But I think it is overall a great strain and more of a head-high for me so a little different but I would say I think it's a great strain yeah. I have no complaints.

So yeah it's not giving me dry mouth or anything so I always hate when I get dry mouth from a strain. Yeah cottonmouth sucks. What was I going to say, now that I've had a second for it to settle in with the strands well I'm starting to feel it behind the eyes like they were saying. But really throughout my whole body I just feel really really strong body high. And like I was saying when you first look at it, the buds don't look as seem as dense as the Grape Ape but I mean it does a lot and it does have a lot of frost on it. And yeah that's what I was going to say because,  as nuggy ,As the grape ape did I think I'm going to use more of the larfy stuff to make concentrate. So I will be making like bubble hash or maybe pressing some rosin as well.

So it still has all of the good flavors on the smells and it is super Frosty like Claire was saying, it's just that it's not got as much of the bag appeal type nugs that you like to smoke. So might be just using some of this for Concentrate, there is definitely like the nug up top here and a lot of the other stuff here it does look really nice. But again just for the Larfy stuff I think I will be processing that. And then so now that is the pineapple chunk, and so now we are going to do the third which is Zkittles again with a z.

So on another Indica dominant mix and this is actually with Grape Ape mixed with grapefruit. So this is actually a product of partially these genetics. Oh and then it is  crossed with another undisclosed strain so there is a third one. But as I said is undisclosed. So this is Brad by 3rd gen family and Terp Hogz. it was an award winning combination and it took first place in the 2016 Emerald Cup and first place Indica at the 2015 Cannabis Cup in SF as well as Michigan. Known for its chunky colas which explode into a spectrum of light green Hughes and emit sweet tropical blend of fruity flavors. So let's see where the jar is right here Skittles. It is definitely not as dense or as moist, it is definitely not as dense or as sticky as the other two from grinding it up.

So it is a little bit on the dryer side or more of the earthy or side I guess you would say. I still smell it's really sweet. Oh I see what you mean yeah. When I felt it into the grinder it wasn't that immediate Dent sticky feeling it's a little bit more flowery. This will probably be another concentrate Bud that I use. So you guys will see some videos in the near future of me processing these guys into different extracts but yeah. I'm sure it will taste like the rainbow though. Oh yeah very Skittley. It is just a different nug type. I think a lot of people used to seeing like those small tight hugs and it's still good it's just different. A little bit Larfy, it is just Airy and little bit loose.

That we will see how it smokes, so anyways for the effects we've got relaxed happy, Euphoric, uplifted as well as sleepy. and then for medical it is great for stress and depression and pain, lack of appetite or insomnia. So they do have info on the growing so let's see how that compares to what my experience was. Oh actually they do not have the info but actually this one grew almost identically to the Pineapple Chunk. It was super leggy and tall and there were long colas but they weren't as dance like I was saying kind of like the but it's turned out in the end.

Grow really fast, the buds develop really quickly I noticed and then it was kind of like it took awhile for the trichomes to mature carefully. Which wasn't a bad thing it's just what I noticed. And then these actually had a decent amount of purple leaves and is actually like the leaves that were most explosive it might turn purple I noticed. So that was kind of interesting. But with the buds hear it turned out to just be all green with some straight orange hairs and that's it. It's kind of like a light green color. And then it is pretty Frosty, not as Frosty as these 2 guys but still looks pretty good. And then now we are going to see how it smokes, it smells really good and I just smelt it and it is really sweet and the flavors on here are Sweet Berry and grape. I mean I would want that in a candle, yea!

So what is interesting is they do have the negative effects of the strain on Leafly here and the top one is dry mouth and dry eyes so we will see. And then it says dizzy, headache and paranoia. But I've never really gotten that from smoking weed so.  But yeah, for lineage it is Grape Ape mixed with grapefruit mixed with one other strain that they keep secret. For Zkittles I always thought this was a strange created by the cookies fam or by Berner, but I guess it was not. But that's where I first heard about it I believe. Got the lighter under there, those nice save.

Yes I always thought Skittles was from the cookies family or by Berner but I guess it is not because it says it comes from Terp Hogz, and third gen family. But that's where I first heard about Skittles is through the cookies in San Francisco. Yeah it tastes really good I definitely get that grape smell more than the Grape Ape. That's super sweet smell just like it taste super sweet. I definitely taste the sweetness in this one. Yeah very sweet like high notes, it does have a little bit of a lemony smell to be honest or lemony taste to be honest. But yeah it is a smooth hit, definitely we are getting some gray Ashy white colors so that is good as it means it's properly flushed.

I would say this one again is another head high as I can feel it right behind my eyes as well as on the top right here so it is very cerebral, but then also I can feel like up in my upper body type area so. Yeah I can feel it in my eyes, not so much in my body but I do feel it obviously and I think it is definitely a quick head high and it is a good strain I like it and it tastes nice. Is not harsh or anything that smells really good too. Yeah it does so that's always nice, but smooth hit and yeah I really like it. And again another easy strain I would say beginners definitely try growing this rain is it was easy to grow, did not have any issues as long as you kept temperature and humidity on point. And so far definitely liking the results. So I would say that concludes our taste test. And now clear how would you rate these or what would you say is your first second and third favorites.

I mean Grape Ape is my favorite I've been a big fan of that for a long time now so I can always say that and I think it grew really well too. It's not just the strain but I think that yielded the most dense nugs that we have. And so I would go with that and then I would say the Pineapple Chunk because I am starting to feel the dry mouth from the Skittles already and I hate that because I get migraines and that's not what I want to happen. So that is why I would go with the Pineapple Chunk a second and then Skittles as third. Which is interesting because I have had Skittles and concentrates as well and in flour but I have felt the same thing. But I think it is the smell and the taste of it is why I like it the most.

That's really the only really biggest thing I can say about that. So I don't really like the effects from it but I do like the taste and smell and the other two I like the effects and the taste on the smell. Yeah so I would definitely have to agree with the Grape Ape being my favorite as well, super good bag appeal.  Super dense nugs and really Frosty, lot of purple in them to which is always nice. But I would have to switch it up I think my second favorite would be the Skittles just because it does feel a lot stronger in terms of the body high than the pineapple chunk. And then the head high is there as well so I really like that affect and really it was closed between these two, the Pineapple Chunk was a close third because it was really strong as well. I really like the taste and the smell for this one, and I am excited to see all these ones turn out once we do the extract with them. So yeah that is pretty much it for the smoke and taste test!

Alright GreenBox Growers, that concludes today's video of the curing as well as my smoke review video for those buds that I grew in the NukeHeads grow series.  Now I want to hear what you guys personally thought of the buds and how they turned out from this video. I know you didn't get to test them or smoke them or smell them or anything like that but just from the visuals of what you saw in today's video, feel free to comment down below just giving me your rating of what these buds look like and how you thought they turned out. I personally am obviously really stoked on all 3 strains.

I chose obviously the Grape Ape as my favorite but I also really enjoyed the Pineapple Chunk as well as the Skittles at buds. So kind of torn between all 3 but I do believe I will be making some extra racks out of those Skittles and some of the pineapple chunk of buds because some of them did come out a little bit Larfy and not super dense. But with the grape apes those buds all came out really fire. so those will be some really good smoking bud and I probably won't be processing them into extracts because of that. I was always if you guys enjoyed the video feel free to smash that thumbs up button and don't forget to comment below with your feedback or with some ideas for future videos you would like to see me do. Now I'd like to thank you guys for watching today's video I really hope you enjoyed it as always and until next time…

Happy Growing!!!

NukeHeads Grow Series Final Update!

End of Flush + Harvest for NukeHeads Plants

Alright GreenBox Growers, we are now back here for the week 15 video of that NukeHeads Grow Series, and for those of you who saw the last week's video you saw that we started the flush with that fox farm Sledgehammer flushing agent at the end of last week. So for this week's video what I'm going to be covering is that 2-week flush. And I'm going to be doing an abbreviated version of that in the video, I'm not going to be showing you guys everyday that I flush but I will be covering all of the details.

It is a very repetitive process or once you see it a few times you will have it down and like I said in the last week's video I also have other videos under the intro to Growing section which will walk you through that in more detail as well.  This week's video is also going to cover the harvesting process for these plants so you will get to see that as well, ok so now that you guys know what we are doing in this week's video, let's get started with day 1 of the week!

Alright GreenBox Growers we are here for day 1 of the Week for the NukeHeads Grow!  It has been extremely hot weather here in Northern California which is why I am sweating so much on camera right now. But anyways, that is also why a lot of these leaves have started to kind of curl up and get a little crispy. Luckily this is just happening at the very end of the grow, as it is day 2 of flush, we started that flush yesterday. So yeah it's not going to really affect the plants too much and I've been able to get temperatures under control so it's not really going to ruin anything. It's just going to make the leaves look a little crispy.

So today we are not really going to be doing too much, the plants are almost ready for watering but I will wait for tomorrow to continue that flush just because they are still a little bit wet. But they are drinking really fast now because of how hot it is and because of how far along into flower they are. So another important thing I kind of forgot to touch on yesterday in last week's clip, you want to water them extra now that we are in the flushing phase. Normally, basically you want to increase the amount of water you're giving them by 10% at this point just so you can really flush out that soil. So you basically don't need to flood them, but you do want to increase it a little bit more than what you were doing before.

So here are some of those Grape Ape buds that are doing so well, they are still just growing and fattening up these last few days. A little look at that Pineapple Chunk in the back, and then here is the one in the front. And you can see these buds really fattened up nicely. And then I look at the rest of the plants, so as we go through this blushing face of the leaves are going to change color. That is normal and what that is is the plants eating up or burning up the nutrients that are left behind in the leaves and the reason they do that is because we are flushing all of those nutrients out of their system and out of the soil so they have nowhere else to turn.

And that is exactly what you want because that means they are getting all of those nutrients out of there for a cleaner a smoother smoke. So that's it for day 1 of this week and I will be back here in 24 hours to continue the flush. Let me just give you a little look at the pineapple or I'm sorry the Grape Ape here in the front. You can see that bud has really grown a lot, used to just be a little bulbousy bud and now it has actually grown up and height.  So very nice yield from all of these plants and very stoked on that. Alright I'll see you guys tomorrow, peace!

Alright Growers we are back here for day 2 of week 15 and the plants are now ready for their next flushing. So now that we did that Sledgehammer flush, it is just going to be plain pH water from here on out. And I'm going to be giving them a good amount so that they are getting some excessive runoff out of the bottom after each watering. And that is just to be sure that they really get a good Flushing. I'll give you guys a little peek at the buds, they are just looking prettier and prettier by the day, they are getting frostier and pretty much densening up, and they still seem to be getting some good group going all the way up and down so they really haven't stopped in terms of that kind of development.

But you can see that most of the pistols have matured and curled in, so really excited to get these ladies chopped down because they are going to be really tasty and strong hitters, I can already tell. And I am just really pumped to be testing out this purple Grape Ape in the back. As well as the one here in the front. Very different genetics, I'm sorry very different phenotypes so it's going to be really interesting to compare the two as well. But I will be doing some more videos on that for you guys as well. So today I'll just be doing that plane a pH watering, and then that is pretty much it so that is it for today's update and I will be back here in 24 hours. alright peace guys!

Alrighty Growers we are here another day later for day 3 of the week, and the plants are actually dried up and ready for their next watering.  It's been really hot lately so they are drinking really fast and so what that means is I will be doing another flushing today Of just plain water. So buds are looking really good, you can see the leaves are starting to Yellow which is a good sign because that means all of the nitrogen and other nutrients are being flushed out of the plants, and now the buds are having to resort to eating up or soaking up the nutrients that is Left Behind in the leaves. And then once the most of those leaves have yellow that's a good sign that they are completely flushed out and ready to start that's harvesting process.

I just wanted to give you guys a good look at this nice Grape Ape Bud here in the front so you can see how dense it is with trichomes, it is extremely Frosty as you can see and then of course the bud itself is very dense and it smells really really good. It is a very sweet smell, very not gravy but a fruity sweet type of smell. And then of course the Grape Ape in the back, those buds are just fattening up tremendously. And you can see just how dense and big it is all the way down that Branch. So that is it for today's update, I'm going to do that flushing right now after this clip and then I will be back here in 24 hours for your next update. Alright peace Growers!

Alright so we are back here for a day for a week 15 in the NukeHeads grow tent, there isn't really too much of a difference going on. Some of the plants are leaning and now that the buds are getting a little heavier each day. So I will just be supporting them with some anchors kind of like that right there. I've got that soft I holding the plants up. And this is pretty normal when not growing with a trellis or some sort of SCROG net.

So just to show you guys how the buds are looking, definitely done in terms of trichome and Pistol development. But you can tell they are fattening up a little bit more each day, really turning it around nicely especially the grapes and the pineapple chunk In the front here. So getting really close to being ready for Harvest here, they are not ready for their next flushing just yet, but probably by tomorrow or the day after they will be and I will be flushing again with some plain pH water. So that is really up for today's update and I will be back here in 24 hours for the next day of the week. All right peace Growers!

What up GreenBox Growers and welcome back to the NukeHeads Grow Series, So this is actually about 7 days since the last shot I did in here. Reason being is I told you guys earlier I didn't want to show you guys everyday of the flushing just because it's going to be very repetitive and it is pretty much the same steps every time you do another flushing. So today is the last day of flush the plants are ready for one more flushing, so I'm going to do that. And then I'm going to give them that 36 hours of darkness and then once that's done it is time to harvest.

Now the reason for the 36 hours of darkness is because it actually pushes some extra resin into the glands right before you do that Harvest, so you get a little bit more of a  potent bud in the end. So I'm going to do that playing a pH watering for the flushing, give them a really good flushing, and then what I will do is close up the tent, turn off all of the lights for that 36 hours of Darkness. And you still want your fans to be still going, you want to maintain that same temperature and humidity conditions.

You do not want it to get too hot or too cold in there, but just wanted to make sure that there is no light leaking in, it is completely dark in there and then that is pretty much it. And in 36 hours later they will be ready for Harvest. So again this  has been about a 14-day flush here and there has been about seven flushes that I have done over that flushing period just because I was wondering about every other day. So what I'm going to do now is give them that watering, close up that tent and give them that 36 hours of darkness. And then once it is time to harvest I will be back here to show you guys what that looks like. Alright peace Growers!

Alright guys, so we are about 18 hours into the dark. Now and I actually just wanted to give you guys a Quick Clip or peek into the tent during the dark period just so you can see what it looks like. Alright let me open it up a little bit more, but yeah there's that beautiful Grape Ape lady that I am excited to chop down and you can see of course the rest of the nuggs are looking nice and frosty as always. But yeah we are about 18 hours in and we are going for 36 hours so I just wanted to give you guys a quick little peek. And then I will be back here once that dark. Is over and it is time to harvest these buds.  We are going to be showing you guys not only the harvesting process, but also the drawing as well as curing so stay tuned for that.

Alright so here we are right after that 36 hours of Darkness finished, and I've got the lights on just so you guys can see what we are doing here, but it is now officially time for Harvest. So we just chop down the Grape Ape from the front, that is the fox farm Dirty Dozen great bait. We've got it right here in the tray, and we are now going to trim her up. So I will show you guys what that looks like after we are done trimming, but I also want to just give you guys some nice close-ups. So these grape apes are especially purpley, these Grape Ape buds, just wanted to give you guys some nice little close ups.

Alright let me see if I can get a nice little close-up Focus shot for you guys, but anyways very frosty and very dense Buds. And you can see I mean all of them that are really low on the plant, they still have some good-sized buds from down below. They are like the size of little popcorn buds but they are still really dense, they are not Airy or larfy, so they're still going to be really good quality just give them a good trimming. And they will be good to go, so we are now going to take these upstairs and get them nice and trimmed and then I will be back to show you guys what that looks like right before we hang them up to dry.

Now that also reminds me, this is the same room we are going to be using for drying these plants. So what I'm going to do is chop down all of the plants and get them out of here, and then I'm going to clean out really quickly the inside, any debris and soil that was left behind. And then I'm going to unhang and take out the lights. And then what we will do is just have a dark room and here where we are going to hang the buds from the ceiling to let them dry. So let me go get these guys trimmed up and then we will show you what that looks like.

Alright so here we are at my trimming station in the bedroom, and I just wanted to show you guys I've got some trimmed up nugs already of that Grape Ape from the front. So I've got three trays going well four actually, first I've got the one below this white one which is holding the untrimmed buds. And then I've got my trimming tray where I have all of my scraps and sugar leaves in there. And then I've got the one for the popcorn buds which I will do a light trimming on them and then I will pop them in here because what I'll do after that is run them through the bowl trimmer here.

Now for those of you who don't know, just  a spinning blade on the bottom and then you have a handle that you crank on there, and then it kind of pushes the buds around and chops off the leaves really quickly.  It is not an amazing trim job, but it is a good job and you don't need to really do an exceptional trimming for these popcorn buds. Although they do look really Frosty and they are really dense. So they are going to be some really good quality nugs anyways.  Now here are some close ups, close-ups let me just set the camera down really quick quick.

Alright so here are some close ups on those little popcorn nugs, again they are still very frosty as you can see right there. That's a good shot, very purple also so these are still be good for smoking and most likely I will run these through either the bubble hash machine or I'm going to press them into some rosin. Then I've got some good Sugar Leaf hear that I've got going on, the rest of the plant that I still have to trim up, they're still get him out left. And then let's check out of course what everyone wants to see. Some of these nice solid nugs.

So they are not huge nugs on these plants just based on the phenotype cuz that other Grape Ape plant does have some really massive nugs.

What this one makes up for is it's really purple, very dense and very sweet and smell and of course extremely frosty I will show you guys.  Now a quick close up on the colas, so let me see if I can get that to focus. There we go. So you can see how Frosty they are and you can almost see the trichomes twinkling right there. And yeah I mean, very good smell they are very dense but they are not hard. They are a little soft like a nug should be right when you harvest it and is still full of water. But yeah very stoked on how these turned out and you can see just how Frosty even the littlest popcorn nugs can get.

So yeah just to give you guys a good idea on the quality of the Bud from these plants. So very stoked on that, now this is officially the last video for this nuke heads grow series, or the last clip. I'm not going to be filming or including the whole drying and curing process but what I will do is a separate video where I will show you guys all of the buds once they are hung up in the Big Grow Tent where I grew these. That is the same tent that I'm going to use as the grow room. And then I'm going to show you guys the curing process and then we will do a little smoke review on these buds. Now if you do want more details on the hang drying as well as curing process right now, just visit the intro to Growing section, and we have plenty of videos that go in-depth on all of those processes step by step.

So definitely check those out. Now I know other thing that is really important, so I've got the bowl trimmer right there for the popcorn nugs. Oh and then I almost forgot, we've got some nice scissor hash right here that I've already scraped off just from trimming these few buds that I've done already. Let me see if I can give you guys a good close up on that, so you can see it is kind of hard to tell but haven't smoked any of that yet. Going to give that a taste or a try in a minute here. But a big thing I wanted to go over in this video is the NukeHeads  nutrient line up as well as their seeds and genetics.

Because I didn't use the nutrients on this specific plant, but as you guys have seen from previous Clips, the buds that word from with NukeHeads flower power package. Which again is the uranium veg here  and then the plutonium Bloom here. So very stoked on the results I got from these nutrients as well as their seeds and genetics. Now all of the plants grew top shelf Buds for me as you guys have seen in this video series.

The only difference between that back row in the front row was which nutrient lineup I used, now course you guys know I'm all about the fox farm and they're dirty dozen. Oh yeah here is some Girl Scout cookies seeds so I do have some nuke heads  seeds left. So be on the lookout for some more groceries with their genetics. But again yeah all of their plants came out really well, so very stoked and definitely recommend their seeds and genetics. And then as you guys will see and future videos once I have the other plants trimmed up. The buds is that I grew with their nutrient line up or Top Notch. So if you are looking for a good entry-level, affordable and easy to use nutrient line up.

I definitely recommend checking out the NukeHeads  plutonium bloom. Now the only knock that I have on it  which you guys already know, is it is synthetic and you don't really know the ingredients going into it. But so far I am very stoked on the results and I haven't smoked any of the product yet but I do have clients that have grown all the way through with this series of nutrients. And has smoked the dried and cured product. And they are very happy with the result. So big shout out to NukeHeads for hooking me up with these products, very good genetics as well as very good nutrient line up and again it is very simple. There are just two products, one just for veg and then one for bloom. So you guys will see in a new video coming out soon that drying and curing and then smoke review video, and then besides that that is pretty much it for the NukeHeads grow series.

Alright GreenBox Growers, so that officially concludes that NukeHeads Grow Series, and I want to give one more huge shout-out to the NukeHeads Team for hooking me up with their genetics as well as that flower power nutrient lineup.  Very stoked on both of those products and will definitely be using them again and then of course I highly recommend you guys check them out as well. As I mentioned earlier in the video, I will be coming back soon with that  drying as well as that curing and smoke review video of these buds so you guys can get a better look at how the end result turned out. And then you can also get some nice close-ups of the other strains that I grew in the tent. As always thank you guys for watching, I hope you really enjoyed this whole video series of the NukeHeads lineup, and if you guys have any suggestions feel free to contact me or comment below on the video just to tell me what you guys want to see next up in our Grow video series. If you guys have any strains, types of setups you want to see done or anything similar to that, just feel free to hit me up and let me know. All right folks so as always thank you for watching, and until next time…

Happy Growing!!!

NukeHeads Grow Report: Week 6 of Flower

Almost Time to flush these Buds!

What up GreenBox Growers and welcome back for week 13 of that NukeHeads Grow Series. Now this is also week 6 for flower for this grow series so we are pretty much completely finished with flowering. We are just letting the buds finish up those last few steps and bits of development that they have left, And then we will be harvesting. So early on in this week I will be checking on the trichomes with my trichomes scope to see if they have developed enough and I am really hoping that the trichomes show us that they will be ready for Flash by the end of this week or early next week.

Which will mean we only have two weeks from that point that we start the flush, until we Harvest. And by the looks of the development I think in those trichomes will be ready to start the flush by the end of this week or early next week. So get excited because once we do start that flush it's only going to be 2 weeks before we harvest the plants. So really stoked on that the buds are fattening up beautifully as well as getting very dense and frosty. So nothing to complain about there. All right so now that you guys know what we are doing for the plants are actually ready for their next nutrient feeding.

Alright folks, we are out in the garage for day 1 of  week 13 and the ladies are actually ready for their next nutrients feeding. And what that is is it's going to be the first nutrients feeding since that Sledgehammer flush that we did. So on the fox farm plants from The Dirty Dozen lineup I'm going to be doing the week 8 mix which is the fourth mix of flower nutrients. And I will be doing that at full strength with the usual teaspoon of Cal Mag per gallon of water. And then for the back row of plants that are doing the NukeHeads lineup so I will be the NukeHeads Plutonium Bloom mix at full strength.

And then I will also be adding a teaspoon of Cal Mag per gallon of water to that as well. So we will be watering those today in a little bit and right now I just want to give you guys some close-ups on the buds but in a little bit I'm going to give you guys a look at the trichomes because I'm going to pop that trichome scope on to my phone here. So buds are starting to finish up nicely here and you can see some of them are leaning from the way because they are getting super big and heavy, but that is all right because they're not going to fall over or anything like that. They are still very stable and you can see these are definitely the best buds, The Grape Ape in the back here.

Super stoked on how those are turning out and then to do a comparison again, again the back row is what is getting the NukeHeads, the front row is getting the Fox Farms. I would say honestly in terms of Bud development I would say it is pretty similar, the different plants got different results just because they are probably different genotypes or phenotypes I mean. Like for example this Grape Ape in the front is a lot more purple actually it is really purple. And then the one in the back actually doesn't have any purple in it at all. So that's what I mean, same strain, different results for example on the Grape Ape in the back. Those buds are much larger than the buds on the Grape Ape in the front.

So in terms of the nutrients I'm probably going to have to go with The Fox Farms, in terms of the results I am getting this far. Because the results are the same as the NukeHeads maybe a little bit smaller, but you know what ingredients are in these Dirty Dozen nutrients by Fox Farms. And they are organic and all-natural. So with the new codes, not really sure what ingredients they put into that mix. But yeah, still looking really good for the buds by NukeHeads, maybe even a little better than the dirty dozen but still probably going to go with the dirty dozen from here on out.

So let me pop on that trichome scope for you guys really quick and then we will take a look. Alright guys so I have my try come scope hooked up right here on my smartphone it's so what we are going to take a look at first or the Grape Ape buds, this big Grape Ape Bud right here in the front. So going to get in nice and close there so we can get a good look, and I might have to do this in slow-mo but yeah right now I am seeing pretty much milky maybe a little bit of Amber in there. But hard to tell on the regular speed. Probably going to have to do a slo-mo test to figure that out.

But let me do another one right here on this baby, this is the Pineapple Chunk front one getting the dirty dozen buy Fox Farm. Yes it is I'm still seeing clear, A little bit of Milky so still a little ways to go on these ones as well. I will probably do a quick look in slow-mo after this just to check on them but yeah there is your guyses first look at the trichomes and probably another week and a half to two weeks Max before we start flushing these plants. So that is it for today's update, I will be back in another 24 hours for day 2 of the week. All right peace guys!

What's good Growers we are back here for day 2 of the week in the buds are continuing to do their thing, looking really good and healthy. You can tell all of the leaves are really nice and healthy, there are no Burns no toxicity signs showing or deficiencies so that's a really good sign that they are really healthy and that is why we are getting such good results is because we are keeping these guys on a proper watering schedule. So pistols are starting to curl in on those of the buds here and are starting to Orange as well so that is a good sign that they are starting to finish up here.

Like I was saying we checked those trichomes yesterday and they're starting to be a little bit of Amber but it is mainly milky with some clear still left. So probably the end of next week or the middle of next week is when will be starting the flush. Maybe sooner, just depends on how these babies progress over the next week. So I will do a tricone shack probably on day 6 or 7 of this week, just so we can see how they are advancing from there. So here are some nice a little close ups on the nuggs, you can see they are really Frosty and tall and they're getting really dense as well which is always nice because you always want dense nugs.

Because not only is that a sign of quality and potency but they are just a lot better looking than those Airy LARFY nugs. And you are going to get a lot more yield that way too so there is that Grape Ape in the back that is doing really well and then the Pineapple Chunk with that massive bud just about  touching the light. So I may have to raise it another inch or so, but yeah everything is looking really good in here. Just waiting for that flush or for the plants to be ready to start that 2-week flush.

And then here is that Grape Ape in the front that is actually purpling out really nicely. Let me see if I can get a more focused shot. There you go. But yeah it is getting really purple and frosty which is always nice and that is pretty much it for your day two of the week update, and I will be back here shortly for day 3. All right peace guys!

What GreenBox Growers, we are here for days three of the week, and I'm going to just be getting you guys some updates on the buds and how they are looking. Some of them are getting so heavy they're starting to lean over a little bit so that is pretty cool. It could become a problem if they looked like they are going to snap but these guys look like they are strong enough that they're going to hold up. But my advice is if they do look a little weak, where they look like they would be snapping, my advice would be to use either some gardening tie soft I to tie them upwards or you can use some string to hang them up from the ceiling of the grow tent.

But anyways just wanted to show you guys how purple is Grape Ape has gotten here in the middle, really awesome and also those buds are really thickening up and getting pretty big on top. So she's going to be a really good yielders of some really potent bud. So the buds are getting really close to being ready for that flush. You can see not only are they densening up, and pretty Frosty all the way around. But you can see a lot of those white hairs that were standing straight up before have started to curl in.

And on some of the plants, almost all of them are orange at this point which is a sign that it is  getting close to Harvest Time.  Now the best way to check if they are ready for Harvest is by the maturity of there trichomes, so that is why we use those Scopes but based on the look and appearance of these buds they are definitely showing us some signs that they are near the end of their flowering stage. So here's that back Grape Ape that is probably going to be yielder overall, or at least the best quality but overall.

You can see she is just super top shelf and very far looking nugs. Very dense and Frosty and the smell is just amazing. So I'm going to pop on that scope really quickly so we can do  another check and update on those trichomes, so let me get that set up and I will be right back. Alright guys so we are right back here in the same grow room, and I'm going to be doing some close-ups with my trichome microscope here in slow-mo.

So these first buds that we are looking at her the Grape Ape for that main Grape Ape Cola here right in the front, on that purple one. Looking like there isn't too much Amber just yet, just a few here and there and one thing that is really important to remember if you want to look at right on those buds. You don't want to be checking out the sugar leaves, as those are not a good indicator of how long the bud trichomes have to develop. They will actually Amber a lot faster on the sugar leaves, so if you go by that you will probably Harvest way too soon.

So there are the trichomes for the Grape Ape plant, and now here we are in the last, the front left on that Pineapple Chunk. Getting the fox farm Dirty Dozen for nutrients so let me get on this main Cola over here to give you a little better shot. But yeah very dance with trichomes and looking very healthy. So again okay here's that back Pineapple Chunk plant, lot of them are purple and again just another phenotype or genotype. But yeah lots of nice dense trichomes and looking very milky.

Probably just starting to produce an amber so we are getting really close to being ready for Harvest or flush. I like to start my flush around 10, 5 to 10 sometimes 15% Amber. Depending on which strain it is, but yeah there is a nice look at the trichomes. So I will probably be doing another check later on next week or this coming week once it is almost time for a flush. And then we will go from there. All right I will be back in 24 hours for the next day of the week, peace guys!

What up Growers, we are back here another 24 hours and it is already day 4 of the week! So this one is really flying by here, and looked at the trichomes yesterday as you guys can remember and it is looking like probably going to start the flush either the beginning or middle of this coming week as they are just about there. And you can see how close they look and terms of their development. Most of those hairs have started to curl in as I have mentioned, and a lot of them are already Orange.

So today the plants are ready for their next watering. Is going to be a plane pH watering and that will be there first one since the last nutrient feeding that they got. And I've been tying up some of the plants and their different colas as they get heavier they start to lean. And that is a great reason why I usually use a scrog because it will prevent issues like this. and it will also make it easier to get bigger buds on all of the Colas opposed to just having big ones in the middle, with some slightly smaller ones surrounding it. But these ones all  still look really good in size however.

So here are some close ups on the Zkittles fox farm plant, let's get this baby focus. And you can see they are not only dance but they are really Frosty as well which is always nice. Now the Grape Ape in the back here is turning extremely purple with the buds. You can see it throughout the different parts of it and it is getting really Frosty as well. This is by far my favorite plant, I got to stay out of all of them followed up by this Pineapple Chunk here. And you can see the leaves on this one turned purple and there is some purple highlights throughout the buds, but not as much as that Grape Ape.

And then here is that other Grape Ape which is probably just another phenotype than the one in the back because this one's got a lot of purple leaves growing. Actually all of its leaves have turned purple and there is a decent amount more of purple in the bud. So let me see if I can get that to focus a little better, there we go and I'll show you guys some of the lower buds as well there. So really stoked and getting really excited to harvest these.

The smell on the Pineapple Chunk is really a bubble gummy flavor. Really sweet as well. So again going to be flushing these pretty soon here so just a couple more weeks until Harvest. So get excited for that, going to give them that plane pH watering now and then that is pretty much it for today's update. Alright peace guys!

How goes it Growers we are back here for day 5 of the week and buds are just continuing to get bigger and frostier each day here. Especially these grape apes in the front as well as the ones in the back. I mean really they are just been densening up and fattening up consistently each day. And you can see the bud is really getting taller in height, you can see it's that bulbous shape and is just getting higher and higher above the foliage.

So always a good sign to see her buds getting bigger and frosty here and really that is happening all the way around in this tent. So really stoked on that and I'll give you guys some nice close-ups on the Grape Ape here. As well as the Zkittles Bud's over here which are also finishing up really nicely. I like I was saying, we are getting really close to being ready for flush, I checked those trichome videos that we took the other day. and it was looking like we were only at about 1% Amber, really just mostly cloudy trichomes still with some clear.

And then a very very small amount of Amber. So finishing up this week for sure and I will at least be doing one more nutrients feeding for all of these plants before we start that flush. And then next week probably throughout the middle of the week is when I will check the trichomes again to see if they're almost ready for that flush. So definitely at least this week to go and a decent amount of next week before we start that flush, and then from there we are just going to check the trichomes to see where we are at.

So that's really it for 2 days update, again this is day 5, and no need to water but the buds are looking tremendously Frosty all the way around as you guys can see. These nugs are really just fattening up beautifully. You can see how big how tall and still very frosty and very dense.

So we are now back here for a day 6 of the week and the ladies are now ready for their next watering, so they are all going to be getting their second plain pH watering since the last nutrient feeding. So it has been a little bit hot lately, we've had a nice Heatwave here in Northern California, so weather has probably been in the high 80s outside where I live. Which is actually really warm for here, so you can see we've actually got a little bit of heat stress on these leaves that curled up in our little crunchy.

But nothing that is going to ruin the buds or anything like that, I just wanted to show you guys how to identify some heat stress there. So other than that, all of the buds are looking extremely dense and Frosty and these grape apes I mean I can still notice a sizable difference each day in their growth. Still fattening up a lot and getting really Frosty, so a little bit of progress to go still, but we will still probably be flushing these ladies at the end of next week maybe the beginning of the week after that. So quick look at the nice Grape Ape lady in the back here and those big hole is up top, and then of course we've got the Pineapple Chunk here on the left with those really purple leaves.

And super orangie hairs, extremely Frosty,Densely packed on with trichomes which is always what you want and then this one in the front is doing the same thing except for her leave didn't really purple out so.  So again really quickly just to give you guys a good explanation of phenotypes, so certain strains when you cross them they are going to have a lot of characteristics in jeans that they hold within their genotype. But they are only going to display some of those jeans as they don't display all of them for each plant.

So the phenotypes, the different phenotypes are based on which of those genes they are displaying. So like I was saying here, they definitely have a purple trait in their genetic lineup but this phenotype here is not displaying that Gene, well the one in the back is displaying it. So that is kind of a little bit of a better overview for the phenotypes when it comes to the same strain of cannabis plant. I just wanted to show you up close on the Zkittles plants over here how Frosty it is getting. I mean let's see if I can get a good Focus shot.

The trichomes are just really packing on on these buds here, and you can see it when I zoom out a little bit there. Let's see here, you can kind of well I guess I got to stay out but yeah you can really see that Frost. It almost looks like it snowed on these plants and there is a good shot for you guys. But the denser, the more dense the trichomes are on here, the more potent the plant or the bud is going to be and the end. So more trichomes is always better.  Now of course is purple here is the Grape Ape, and again another example of the same strain showing different phenotypes.

This lady right here in the front is more of a bulbousy purple bud.  All of the leaves have purple on this plant as well, but this Grape Ape here in the back no purple on the leaves. It does have some on the buds themselves, you can see it got a lot taller and the buds are a little less bulbusy and shave and a little more of that egg shape like this cola here on top. So again that is really it for today's update and I will be back and another 24 hours for the last day of the week. Alright peace Growers!

What up GreenBox Growers, we are back here for the last day of week 13 for that NukeHeads grow series. And the buds are continuing to develop really nicely. Now all the ladies are actually ready for their next watering, so that is going to be their third plain pH water and sent that last nutrients feeding. now I just did a little trichome check on my own, and saw that some are definitely starting to turn Amber. And the majority are now milky, but we still have some time to go before these ladies are going to be ready for a flush.

So I think we are going to continue with the normal nutrient watering schedule through next week which again will be week 14 of the grow. And then I'm thinking by the end of week 14, beginning of week 15 as when the plants will be ready to start that 2-week flush. So you can see here how Frosty The Grape Ape is continuing to develop. I mean these buds are noticeably bigger each day, and they're definitely packing on those trichomes. And you can see that is true and evident all the way down the plants.

So all of these buds looking really nice and definitely packing on some nice weight at the very end of the grow, you can’t see from the Blind Eye they don't look like they are changing too much, just kind of getting a little frostier and denser each day.  But what is really changing right now is those trichomes as I was mentioning, so that is why we are going to be keeping a close eye with that microscope just to make sure that once they are ready to start that flush, we get that going as soon as possible.

You don't want to wait too long and let these ladies over ripen. But you also don't want to start the flush too soon because you will also be leaving a lot of weight and potency behind which is never good either. So that is it for this week's video as well as today's update, and I will be back shortly for the next video update. Alright peace guys!

All right GreenBox Growers, that concludes week 13 for the NukeHeads grow series, and we are getting really close to being ready to start that flush here. So the flowering stage is definitely wrapping up at this point and I think we will actually go through week 14 with the normal watering schedule before starting that flush. As on my latest trichome check it does look like they still have a little bit of a ways to go before being ready. Now they are definitely mostly no key at this point with some Amber starting to form, but you want them to be pretty much 100% milky and then about 5 to 10% Amber before you start that flush.

Now the amount of Amber that you wait for before you start the flash is a preferential things so that will be up to you to decide but I like to start my flesh at around 5 to 10% Amber because then by the end of that 2-week flush I usually have around 25 to 35% Amber which is the range that I am aiming for. I will be back shortly with the week 14 video for this NukeHeads Grow Series where we are going to continue finishing up this watering schedule for flour as well as checking on those trichomes so we know exactly when the perfect time to start that flush will be. I was always I want to thank you guys for following along with this video series, we still have a few more weeks to go so I really hope you guys are enjoying everything thus far.   And it till next time…

Happy Growing!!!

NukeHeads Series Update: Almost Time for Harvest!

Week 5 of Flower (Week 12 Overall)

What up GreenBox Growers and welcome back for week 12 of NukeHeads grow series!  Again this is week 5 of flower, so we are just starting off kind of the late stages of the flowering phase. And you will see in this week's video the buds are filling out really nicely, they're fattening up a whole lot.  And you will see they are going to start finishing up their development pretty quickly here, so I'm thinking maybe another 2 or 3 weeks Max of growth and then we will start that flushing phase.

So as always if you are looking for a little additional help to go along with these step by step videos, I do offer personal grow guidance where I myself teach you over the phone each day how to grow cannabis. So I can help you out with any issues or problems you may be running into and you can check out more details on that at this leak right here on the screen. All right so now that you guys know what we are doing this week's video, let's get started with day one of the week!

So we are out here in the garage for day 1 of the week for the NukeHeads  grow series, and you can see especially these main Grape Ape buds in the back here, they are really filling out nicely here all the way up and down. That is going to be a mighty fine Cola right there, still has a lot of growth still to go but already is looking top-notch! So very frosty and big and the smell and odor is extremely powerful. Same with this Cola right here, you can see it's already got some hair's turning orange so it is developing a little faster than the rest. But you can't see that is also happening in the front plant of the same string right here.

And these are both the pineapple chunks from NukeHeads. So very stoked on that growth and you can see this grape ape plant here in the front is doing really well In terms of Bloom growth very Frost, even frostier than the one in the back.  But you can see the buds have quite a different shape to them, so this one back here was big and hairy wear this one was sort of smaller and a little bit more bulbous on top. Which is normal as you know every strain isn't going to be of the same phenotype. They are going to be the same strain of course, and that is normal because you can get the same strain or multiple seeds of the same strain but some of those seeds might be a different genotype or phenotype from each other so that is why you get the different characteristics showing in the plants.

So check in over here again, the middle is the Grape Ape and then on the right is the Skittles, and those are doing really well also. Still thickening up really nicely all the way up and down and even in the back plant right here. So I definitely did a lot of the foliation to open up space for that guy. So doing much better now, all of the bud growth is doing really well and I would say probably two more weeks of development, maybe a little bit more and then we will be starting that flush. So getting pretty close to harvest here and you can see buds are developing pretty far down the branches.

Now soil is pretty dry today, it's been pretty hot here in Northern California so they are drying out a lot faster than usual. So we will be giving them their third plane pH watering today, and that will really be it for today's update. I'm going to give them that watering now and then I will be back in 24 hours for day 2 of the week. All right peace Growers!

What up Growers we are now back here for day 2 of the week and the buds are smelling and looking amazing as always! Now all of the plants are ready for their next watering so what that will be is there first flush of the grow. So I'm going to be doing a sledgehammer flush for the girls that are in the fox farm nutrient line up and then for the ones and NukeHeads I will also use that Sledgehammer flush as well just because it is a good flushing agent. And I didn't get one with the NukeHeads mix. So that will be good because you want to break up the nutrient  schedule throughout the grow, just  so you don't get a big buildup of salts and minerals up in the soil and your plants.

So I will be giving them that mix and you can see it is kind of sideways in between  weeks 7 and 8, and it says you know just two teaspoons per gallon of water of this Sledgehammer mix. Now I was also recommended to do one between the flowering phase and the end of the vegetation phase, but I did not just because it was not necessary at that time. so I will be doing that watering today and then also I did some defoliation on all of the plants as you can see, just removing as much of those big fan leaves as I could.

So you'll see a good amount of them are gone and that will just help again with some more bud growth. So up top again with got that Big Main and Grape Ape Cola that is doing extremely well, along with her side colas. And again all the other plants are looking beautiful as always also. And that is pretty much it for today's update, and you can see another thing, buds are starting to mature further and you can tell by the way some of the hairs are starting to Orange on the buds as they get bigger. So as they get older,  the hairs will start to Orange and curl in and that is just a sign of maturity at this point. So definitely getting closer to that Harvest and flushing face, and probably still another couple of weeks before we flush. But coming along nicely here. So again that is it for today's update and again I will be back in 24 hours for your next update of the week, all right piece guys!

What up Growers, we are back here for day 3 and another 24 hours later, and all of the buds are now starting to kind of finish up that development. They are not really focusing on pistol growth better now just kind of fattening up all the way up and down those branches. So you can see how nice these nugs are getting, super Frosty and let's see if I can get a good focus on here. Because the great apes are definitely starting to exhibit some of that purple and their buds. Which they are pretty much known for, let's see, you can tell how bulbousy to see this one is getting, it's nice and big with some purple on top if you guys can see right there, you can definitely see those trichomes.

But anyways all of these buds fattening up really nicely, you can see the two main colas in the back or absolutely massive, and the Grape Ape here. This is some really top-notch top-shelf looking bud just getting super Frosty and super dance. And you can see especially on this main big Cola back here. Probably going to be checking on the tri comes in the next week here sent they are getting a little closer to finishing up. Probably will not be flushing these though it for another 2 weeks maybe a week and a half, so maybe sooner than later.

But that is pretty much it for today's update, they were ready for a watering today. So I did give them their first plane pH watering and each plant took about a gallon of water maybe a little bit more at this point. So it has been pretty warm here lately in Northern California so that is why I have been watering more frequently. And that is pretty much normal as they start to drink more and dry up faster when it is hot out. So that is really up for today's update, you can tell right there some really nice and full buds that are growing in here and I will be back here in 24 hours for your next update of the week. All right peace guys!

What up Growers, we are back here another 24 hours later for the very next day of the week and the buds are really starting to finish up nicely here. So I still have a few weeks to go as I keep mentioning but the buds are definitely starting to make sure and you can see how fat they have gotten. I actually checked on the trichomes earlier today and they are all pretty much cloudy at this point. Some are still a little clear, but no Amber just yet. That will start happening over the next couple of weeks here. But super stoked to be harvesting these guys pretty quickly here. And as you can see all of them are looking really nice and frosty, very healthy. There's no Burns or stress or anything like that going on.

And it is going to be a pretty nice yield and here. Very excited especially to test out these grape apes here as they are starting to get a nice little purple color going to them. So let me show you guys how Frosty they are up close here and you can see how nice that bud is looking, and it is really Frosty. I mean all the way down, now the same goes with the Grape Ape here in the very back. This is definitely the Star plant from the scrub, although the rest are looking really good also.

Even the little guy down there, so not going to be watering today as they are not ready just yet but that is pretty much it, no need to be checking the trichomes really at the stage. You can start if you want to, but still going to be really another couple of weeks before it gets to that point where you want to start making sure it is not too late or too soon. So I will be covering that more in the upcoming weeks of video, and that is pretty much it for today's update. So I will be back here in 24 hours for the next day of the week, all right piece guys!

What up Growers we are back here another 24 hours later for day 5 of the week, and all six of the plants are actually ready for their next watering. So that is going to be there second plane pH watering since the last nutrients feeding. So let me just give you guys some close-ups on the buds here, I will be doing that water right after the shot. And they are actually finishing up pretty quickly here. So I'm going to be doing at the very start of next week, a trichome look just to see if they are ready to start that flush. As they might be ready coming the beginning of this next week.

So you can see the buds are finishing up really well, they are getting bigger by the day and really dance which is nice.  Again the grape apes are turning really purple on the buds, And then the other for plants over here which I've got my Pineapple Chunk, they are getting really orangie hairs on them. Really Frosty as well, and then over here with the Skittles, same thing really Frosty and nice orangie hairs. So really excited on how these guys are turning out and now they're just going to be densening up for the rest of their flower growth, and yeah that is pretty much it for today's update. I'm going to give them that watering now of plane pH water and then I will be back in 24 hours for the next day of the week. All right peace guys!

What up folks, we are back here for day 6 of the week and before I get in too close I just want to show you guys how noticeably large these buds are getting, even from this distance of about three and a half feet away from the entry of the tent. So you can see  nugs filling up from top to bottom, nice and thick and dense, and then when we get up close so you can see how Frosty and obviously you guys can't tell from the video but I can tell how strong and pungent the smell is getting. So all of these buds really finishing up nicely here, still got some time to go and as you guys can see, getting really Frosty and some of them getting really orangie hairs already.

Not really happening with the Grape Ape, so that's more like I was saying with the pineapple chunk and Skittles, but the Grape Ape still looking really nice. And it still looks like it has a little ways to go in terms of Bud development, so I am thinking the plants on the outsides here they are probably going to be harvested a little earlier than the Grape Ape just because these are taking a little longer to finish up. But that's okay that does happen with different strains so nothing to worry about there. And no need for watering, they're still good for that today, so that is pretty much it for today's update. And I will be back here in 24 hours per day 7 of the week. alright peace guys!

All right GreenBox Growers, we are back here for the last day of week 12 which is also week 5 of flower for this overall groceries here. Buds are looking really good and most of them, actually all of them the pistols have started to curl in and they are starting to turn orange like on the outside plants here and even a few of them are starting to Orange on the great apes. So like I was saying, or early next week we will start looking at this trichomes under the microscope so we can see how far along they are from being ready for flush. I'm thinking probably after next week they will be ready for flushing, but yeah getting really dense and really Frosty with those buds all the way around.

It's going to be a nice yield in here as I keep saying, and then again all of these plants are ready for their next watering today. So that's going to be their  third plain pH watering since their last nutrient feeding. So just a nice look at the buds here, you can see getting really Frosty almost looks like their sugar covering them. And they are getting dents as well all the way up and down. This Grape Ape plant here isn't the most dense, but the one in the back it definitely is. So really stoked on how these buds are turning out, I can't wait till Harvest then coming up here. So that is it for today's update, all right peace guys!

All right growers so there you have week 12 of NukeHeads grow series and again that is week five of flowers so next week will be week 6 of flower. And we are getting close to being ready to flush, and again I will be checking on those try comes with a microscope starting next week, early next week most likely. To see where those trichomes are developed and if they are almost at that point where they would be ready for flush.  So really stoked on how these buds are developing, they are getting really dense and are starting to fatten up all the way down the branches so there are going to be some nice yields in this tent. Especially with those Grape Ape plants. Now like I was saying I will be back here shortly with week 6 of flower for this grow series and that pretty much sums up this entire week's video. So is always I hope you guys enjoyed the video, thank you guys for watching, until next time…

Happy Growing!

NukeHeads update: Week 3 of Flower

Week 10 Overall for the NukeHeads Grow Series

What up GreenBox Growers and welcome back to the most lit cannabis grow Channel! Not today kicks off week 10 of that NukeHeads grow series which is actually also week 3 of flower.  And the at the bud sites, pistol development has absolutely taken off, so recently I did some serious to defoliation on all of the plants in that tent, and now the buds are just skyrocketing in size. So we are going to check that out this week as well as the nutrients feeding schedule so let's go check that out.

All right guys, so here we are for day one of the week and again this is also day 1 of week 3 of flower and we are already getting some tremendous a bud development. You will see at all of these main tops, so yesterday which was the last day of week 9 I believe that was. Just the last day of last week's video, I did a major defoliation in this tent as you can see. and not only did it open up a ton of light to the lower growth and all those Bud sites below. But you can see the buds have almost doubled in size since then and that was only 24 hours ago.

So really stoked on how this defoliation is working out thus far and definitely paying off dividends overnight. Again this is just week 3, the beginning day 1 of week 3 of flower. So we've got a lot of Bud growth to go, and I am anticipating that these buds double in size again over the course of this week, maybe even more. So stay tuned for more, this is going to be a really exciting week, let's see if there's anything else to show you I'll give you a little look below the canopy here.

Still really nice and you can see how much light is penetrating down to the bottom of the tent.  And that is really good that's just going to help with Bud growth going all the way up and down at these branches.  So really excited to see how far these buds go, and again that's really it for today's update. No need to water or anything like that and I will be back in 24 hours for day 2 of the week. All right peace guys!

We are now back here for day 2 of the week and you can see from a distance I really send out the plants nicely on that last defoliation, which is important because it's probably going to be slowing down a decent amount. Still removing a leave here or there but not and as a large of a quantity as I was doing for a while there. So you can see the buds have really reacted nicely to that defoliation though they are really filling out with a ton of tall and thick pistols at the bud sites. So this is still the early stages of bud development, and you will also notice that these guys are pretty much stopped in terms of growing in height so they are now all pretty much focused on bud growth.

now this is still the early stages of bud growth like I was just saying, and pretty quickly here by the end of this week beginning of the next week, these are going to start looking like what you would typically think of as a cannabis bud. So very potent smell already, and they still have a decent way to go so really excited, I think these are going to turn out to be some really good yielders. And you can see the buds are developing pretty far down the branches I mean pretty much 3 feet down if you are going from the tallest tops.

And in that back it's probably got four feet of Bud development going on. So really nice to see that, and when looking down through the canopy you can see that the light is really penetrating See that the light is really penetrating all the way down to the bottom, so that is how we are getting that full  Bud development. Not just at the tops but all the way down the colas, so hopefully that means we are going to be getting some really big and fat colas on these main stems here as well as a lot of lateral ones.

So no watering necessary yet today you will see they are almost dried out but still a little bit moist. So going to wait until tomorrow and then they will probably be ready for the next watering, but until then Happy growing!

Welcome back Growers for day 3 of the week here now, look at just how nice and big these buds are getting in here. So you can see especially these Grape Ape for the Grape Ape and the back and the Pineapple Chunk since they are the tallest, they are just developing massive hairs already. So again day 3 of week 3 flower, so we are still pretty early on in the phase and we are already getting a lot of great development and all of that defoliation is working really well. The plants were ready for their next watering today so I gave them their first plane of pH watering, and they each got about a gallon and a quarter.

And that is pretty much it for today's update, just giving you guys some good close-ups on the bud sites and their development thus far. You can see all of the pistols are standing up right, if early on like this early on in the flowering stage they are curling down and Browning. That means  it is either too hot in the grow tent or the light is too close and it's burning the buds. So the best way to tell which is which is if it is too hot, the leaves are going to be folded or tacoing upwards on the edges, and if it is light burn  they most likely are going to be curling up at the very tips and getting burnt and crispy. so that is one way to differentiate from those two stresses, and either of those are bad so you don't want either one happening during the flowering stage.

Again, if you are seeing leaves crowding each other and laying on top of each other, or on top of the bud sites, this is a really important time to remove those right away. So that is again pretty much it for today's update, I did that second or I'm sorry that first plane pH watering already and the buds are looking beautiful so far.  So no defoliation really necessary today, I'm a thin out this corner over here a little bit actually because it does look a little crowded still, but other than that everything else is looking great. So I will be back in 24 hours for your day 4 update. Alright peace guys!

Alright welcome back growers we are now back here for day 4 of the week and after yesterday's clip I actually did a decent amount defoliation on the plants. Mainly over here in this corner just because it was so crowded I don't know if you guys remember that in the last clip, but anyways it seems to have helped really well. All of the plants are getting some nice extra development today and terms of Bud grow that those Bud sites. And you can see over here just how big that development is getting especially with those pistols going all the way up and down does Main tops.

So these are eventually going to connect, these little balls that look like little fuzzies but really they are those hairs that I keep calling pistols, and that is just the really early signs of Bud development. But eventually they are going to get big enough where they connect all the way up and down these branches forming nice big buds. So ladies are still good on water, I gave them some yesterday so they don't need anything today, but they will probably be ready for a drink tomorrow they are needing water almost every other day now. So that is it for today's update, just a lot of good but new Bud growth going on here on all of the plants, even this guy in the back here the shorter one, that is a skittles back there.

She is doing really well and is going to have some nice big cola's. And same with these guys here. Now you can see how close up to the light they are getting especially this guy right here, but what is really nice is it is not affecting them negatively in any way at all. So you can see there is no burn or anything like that on the leaves or pistols, they all look completely healthy and it actually seems like they're at the top is where the most and best bud growth is taking place. So looking really good, hopefully this guy over here stop growing up and hide because it is about to touch the light, but I'm guessing at this point it's not going to get any taller.

This guy over here is definitely stopped and let's see I mean yeah it's hard to see right now because of the fan leaves are in the way, but that guy is starting to look really nice up there and it's trying to get some really good development. So probably by next week, these guys are not even going to be recognizable because they're going to be covered with some nice big bud growth. So that is really up for today's update, getting really pumped because we are moving along nicely here in the flowering stage, no stress or signs of any issues coming up like heat stress or light stress or anything like that.

You can see the leaves are still in perfect health, no burns are signs of deficiencies or toxicities, and that is really important especially during flower. The more stress you give the plant during flower, the more problems and the less quality of yield you are going to have. Where in VEG is kind of okay because they have time to recover I mean obviously don't want to be making those mistakes in VEG. it's always a good idea to avoid them, but at least you have that time to recover and VEG, where when it's in flower it's kind of like once you stress them out you can't really come back from it because the flowering growth is kind of a one-time deal. So that is it for today's update, I will be back here in 24 hours for day 5 of the week, until then Happy growing!

We are now here for day 5 of the week in the ladies were ready for their next watering, so I already gave them their second plane pH watering since their last nutrient feeding. And they took about a gallon and a quarter per plant. So I got a good amount of runoff from that, you can see the bud development is continuing to be really good all the way up and down these main call is here, and the smell is just getting stronger and more potent by the day. Now this guy in the back here it looks like it's touching the light, but actually it is just got barely some space between it, and again no Burns or any issues or signs of stress going on from that.

But if it does start touching the light I'll have to figure out a way to raise these even higher because I don't want that to happen. Now you can see the Grape Ape in the back here that was really tall, she stopped stretching and is about I would say three inches from the light. So doing really well and really all the plants are doing super right now. Going to give you guys some good shots of the buds and they are really going to start fattening up pretty quickly here. I've also got I forgot to tell you guys I got some exhale CO2 bags in the mail right now so I will probably pop one of those in here depending on how late into the flowering phase it arrives.

But that should help give a little added boost in here during the flowering phase as well. We are not even really at the end, we are at the early stages still, but it will probably arrive around middle of flower. So we will add that in here once that arrived and I will give you more details on exhale bags and what that is all about and why CO2 is good for getting bigger buds. But anyways, I did that plane pH watering so don't forget about that, that was the second one since the last nutrient feeding  and then that is pretty much it for today's update. So I will be back here in 24 hours for the next day of the week. Alright peace guys!

Alright Growers, we are back here for day 6 of week 10 and Bud growth is just an amazing right now I mean these guys look like they've doubled in size since yesterday in terms of their development. And really filling out nicely from the tops all the way down to the bottoms of those main branches. So no watering today, I'm just going to be giving you guys some nice close-ups on these different bud Sights and Main colas that we have developing. So these are the Skittles plans that I am showing you guys right now, and you can see just how full they are doing or how full the buds are growing all the way up and down.

You can see all of those different Bud sites and this Grape Ape back here is doing really well also, so stoked on how all of them are developing. And I'm really hoping to break a pound at least in this tent, so we will see how that turns out. But if development keeps going the way it is, there is no doubt that we will get that. So this talk was actually touching the light this morning, so I raised the light a little higher to give us some space. No damage was really done, you can see some of the pistols are leaning down a little bit just because they touched it, but they will stand back up as they continue to develop normal.

So I mean those two colors right there, the Grape Ape right there in the back and then the pineapple  chunk on the left there they are just going to have some massive buds. And then they are just having some of those awesome side colas coming out as well on all of the other plants.  So smell is getting really strong, got the carbon filter going at all times to maintain that, and temperature and humidity, keeping those in the right range.

I did some defoliation since yesterday's clip, so remember I'm just continuing a little bit each day as I see necessary. Just removing leaves that are touching each other, laying on top of each other or just blocking a lot of light.  Now at this point you should pretty much have all of the big fan leaves remove so it is only the small ones that are left. So that is it for today's update and I will be back here in another 24 hours for day 7 of the week, alright peace guys!

hat up Growers, we are back here for day 7 of the week,  this one's really flown by to be honest I mean it seems like we just started this third week of flower, and now we are already on to the 4th week. So last day of the week three flower for these babies and you can see just everyday tremendous development at all of these Bud sites. And you can see if I give you a zoomed-out view, it just looks like there is a bunch of little balls of Bud growing all the way up and down the branches. A pretty soon what's going to happen, kind of like you can see is already going on, is all those different Bud sites are going to start connecting with growth, to form some big colas.

So all of these guys up top here probably in the next two weeks you will see that formation happened and then from there on they are just going to be fattening up and having some really good development down below the canopy as well. As you see I've kept everything really thinned out in terms of those fan leaves throughout this whole flowering phase so far and it is really starting to pay off. I mean that is still really good development down there and that is like a foot or two maybe even three feet below the highest parts of the canopy. So lots of good bud growth again just keeping and I on those leaves, those fan leaves, and just making sure that none are laying on top of each other. And if you do find any doing that just chop a leaf off and you are good to go.

So that is it for today's update but I will be back with that fourth week of flower pretty shortly here. Where we are going to see even more progress. Oh yeah and you can see also that that one in the back there, she is not really sure doesn't look like she's getting any taller. And also all of those pistols did right back up, so even though she grew into the light, luckily I just did it right away so it did not affect her negatively at all. I almost forgot to mention, these ladies did get a watering today and that was their third playing pH watering since the last nutrients feeding.

And each one got about a gallon and a quarter exactly so lots of good runoff from that, and just really important to stay on that watering schedule properly, especially during the flowering phase. Not let me just give you guys some good nug close-ups here, and again still rather early and turns the developing but just look at that growth. Just absolutely beautiful, smells amazing and I mean the second I turn that carbon filter off it just starts filling up the tent and the whole garage almost instantly. So you can see was buds are everywhere guys, now of course get excited because over the next three to four weeks here as we get near the Harvest going to be a lot of good development going on at these Bud sites. Alright guys so that is really it for today's update, peace!

All right GreenBox Growers, that officially concludes week 3 of flower for this NukeHeads grow series. And that is week 10 overall for the entire grow serious. I will be back shortly with the 4th week of flower now that we are truly in the heart of the flowering phase and passed that transitional phase. We are going to continue seeing so massive Transformations from week-to-week in terms of that bud development. So as always thank you guys for watching, I really hope you enjoyed this week's video, and until next time…

Happy Growing!!!

Week 2 of Flower for the NukeHeads Grow Series (Week 9 Overall)

Bud Development starting to Take OFF!

What up GreenBox Growers and welcome back for the most lit cannabis growing Channel! Now today kicks off Week 9 of that NukeHeads grow series which is also the second week of flower, so I am very excited for that Because I am definitely getting some good development going on at those Bud sites. So you will see that in this week's videos we are starting to get those white pistils going and hopefully by the end of the week we will have a nice little bud growing right at the tippy-top of all of those plants.

Now if you have been following along with these videos and you feel you still need a little more help, you can sign up via this link for one-on-one help with myself where I will help you personally over the phone each day, teaching you what to do and kind of helping you through those problems and issues that you are having with your cannabis plants. I can also show you some different tips and tricks that will help increase the quality of yields that you get from them. Also don't forget to check out our merch and clothing at the GreenBox Grown website under merch and smoke of course and now that you guys know what we are doing in today's video let's get started with day 1 of the week!

Alright so here we are out in the garage for day 1 of week 9 which is also day one for week 2 of flower. And you can see the plants are still blowing up in terms of vegetative growth you can see how thick the canopy has gotten already since I trimmed it up last. Which I believe was the second or third time, and I am still removing little leaves or big leaves actually, big fan leaves  here and there, just throughout the day and the week. Just a little bit at a time. So you can see these two back plants are blowing up in height and also In Bloom growth or flower growth.

So you can see all of the plants actually are starting to sprout a good amount of pistols at the very top of the plants. And starting to get a lot of good smells going on in here as well which is great. But probably by the end of this week we will have some decent bloom or flower growth going on, it's just going to take a little more about transitional phase to get them going. But again still growing and terms of vegetative growth and looking really healthy. All of the plants of course are great and even the one Skittles plant in the back right here that is getting towered over by the rest of them.

So a quick look below the canopy, you can see everything is holding up really well in terms of the lollipopping and trimming, and the  branches are looking really healthy, you can see how big the trunks are getting along with those roots, they are just absolutely massive. So really stoked on that, they are not ready yet for a watering either so we will hold off on that as well. But definitely seeing some good Bloom growth going at the very top of the nodes here. So very stoked on that, and again all of these are showing only female parts, no male Parts going on so that is a good sign as well. That is really it for today's update and I will be back in another 24 hours for day 2 of the week but until then, Happy growing!

24-hours what's good Growers, we are back here another 24 hours later for day 2 of week 9. And ladies were actually ready for a watering today so I gave them their first plane pH watering since that last nutrient feeding. So each plant took about a gallon and a half at this point, some a little less than others but yeah just about a gallon and a half. So now what I am really excited to show you guys about, we are definitely in that flowering stage at this point. No more longer in the transitional phase. And let me show you what that looks like. So you will see up at the bud sites here, you will see there is a lot of pistils growing and forming right at the bud sites. And they are starting to form all the way down those branches, so you can see all those nice white pistils all the way up and down.

And there is even starting to be a little stronger of a scent going on now that those are starting to come in more frequently throughout the different tops. So you can see there is Big Mama, that big Grape Ape in the back middle and you can see her pistols are coming in thicker already just because she is the closest to the light so she is going to have the fastest growth. So very excited about that, that flowering growth is coming and really nicely throughout the whole tent and you can see all of the leaves on the plants, you can see there is no nitrogen toxicity no nutrient deficiencies Burns and no damage to leaves whatsoever.

You can see nothing on the tips were edges or anything, they are just all the hundred percent healthy so that is great  especially because we are in flower. That just means the quality of the bud is going to be that much higher and the yields are going to be that much bigger. So that is pretty much it for today's update, I will be doing some to foliation today. So I mentioned I'll be doing a little bit here and there throughout the flowering. And you can see look how thick the canopy is gone at this point. So what I will be removing at this point the leaves kind of like the leaves that are laying on top of the other ones, or just really big fan leaves like that one right there That are blocking a lot of light to the lower canopy.

So again leaves that are laying on top of each other, you can remove those, and again only fan leaves, none of the bud sites or anything like that especially since we are now in flower. So we are removing those big fan leaves and again the ones that are laying on top of each other and then that will be it. So that is it again for today's update, and I will be back in another 24 hours for day 3 of the week. All right peace guys!

What's good Growers, we are back again and it is now day 3 of the week in flower is really starting to take off on these plants so you can see lots of pistols  even more than before are forming at the tops of the plants and you can see not only has that vegetative growth continue to grow crazy but they are really starting to Bud well at those various tops. So let me give you a quick close up on the big Grape Ape Bud that is already starting to form up here in the back. You can see it right here in the middle of that top and it's starting to form all the way down that main branch so it's going to be a nice big bud back there on both of those ladies actually.

And you can just see the plant is really now starting to turn off on the vegetative growth and is starting to focus more on that flower growth only. You can tell that by how all of these different tops are kind of nice and skinny and standing up straight up, focusing more on thickening up that Branch so we can hold a bigger bud. So we will still be doing some to foliation throughout the grow here and there but right now is not really necessary as all of the plants are looking really good and trimmed up. And it doesn't seem like there's too much below the canopy that is being blocked out by the Light. So let me give you guys another good close up here on this little bud site.

It's really starting to form nicely and let's see if I can give you guys an even better close up. So you can see more pistols are forming and they are really thickening up and they are really going all the way down the trunk of the branch, so that means it's going to be a nice and big bud. So that is it for todays update and I will be back here in another 24 hours for day for the week. All right peace guys!

Alright Growers we are back here for day 4 of the week and they are actually ready for their next watering so that is going to be there second plane pH watering sense that last nutrients feeding. And in the meantime let me just give you guys some nice close-ups of those buds and how they are starting to develop. We are getting some really nice pistol development right at the tops there so let me see okay there you go you can see, let's get it to focus.

You can see how they are starting to form almost like that white fuzz ball looking shape right at the center of the tops and we are getting that really nicely throughout all of those different branches all the way down. So that is really good so far in terms of Bud development and now I am just going to give them their second playing pH watering and that'll really be it for today's update. And I will be back here in another 24 hours for the next day of the week but like I was saying, I'm just going to give them that watering and then that's really it. Alright peace guys!

What up Growers we are now back here for the NukeHeads grow And day five is now upon us. So lots of good development going on at the bud sites, you can really tell a big difference each day now in terms of how many pistols and how big they are really getting so really taking off in terms of that bud growth. And pretty soon here we should start seeing some nice buds forming into those nice Bud like shaped. Now yesterday I did that watering, so the soil is still pretty moist meaning they don't need a watering today, and I also added a fan here on the floor down below the canopy.

The reason being, the canopy above has gotten so big and thick that are float isn't really getting down to this area, so it is a good idea to circulate the area around here because if it does stay stagnant it is going to attract pests as well as mold and possibly other issues like that. So I just have this little fan going lightly, does not blowing too hard and you do not want to be messing with the buds or the leaves up in the canopy. You just want to be circulating that are down around here.

So I also remove the fan that I had up in here and replaced it with the smaller one right here, that guy still pretty powerful but you can see it is not blocking the light like the fan was over here. So not as much light was getting down to the corner of this plant here so I wanted to fix that and that is why I decided to fix that fan. Not a big deal at all you just want to make sure that the fan isn't blowing too hard on the plants and the way you can tell is by the leaves and how much they are shaking.

So you can see these guys are lightly, very lightly fluttering and that is what you want especially during flower. You don't want them shaking as much once they start  developing buds, because that can affect the growth. So that is really it for today's update, again just really stoked on this new development at the bud sites so you can see how good they are looking. And really a night and day difference in terms of Bud growth from day to day. Now one last thing I wanted to show you guys before I go is I was telling you guys about how leaves will lay on top of Bud sites and cover them up and how it is a good idea to remove those.

So you can see this fan leave  right here is covering up my Pineapple Chunk or one of its own tops actually in the back there. And you can see that leave their is laying on a bud site right there right below it,  so you can kind of see it's pistols poking through so what I'm going to do is remove this main leaf that is laying right on top of it and then also this guy right over here on top of it so that we can just completely expose light to it.

Now there are few other ones going on in here and you'll even see the leaves growing into each other and pushing each other in a different directions, so those are good to remove as well because they are just blocking light and also making it harder for those Bud sites to grow. So I will be removing those leaves as well as others that are covering up bud sites and I recommend you guys do the same as well each day, just kind of checking out for a little bit of those each day, just kind of checking out and looking for a little bit of those here and there and removing as necessary. Now you do not need to do a massive defoliation everyday, I'm just talking about a few leaves here and there as needed. But definitely keep an eye out for that. So I will be back here in 24 hours for day 6 of the week, alright peace guys!

What up Growers, we are back here for days 6 in the plants are looking amazing right now. That bud development like I keep saying is really starting to take off and look at how tall does back to plants are getting. I've got here on the left my Pineapple Chunk and in the back row again is the NukeHeads row, so I've got my NukeHeads Pineapple Chunk, and then the NukeHeads Grape Ape. And I mean, these two plans not only are they the two tallest plants by far but they are also the farthest I would say along in terms of Bud development.

So you can see how nice those pistols are looking right at the tops of the bug sites, and really honestly look at all of these talks. I mean they're really filling out densely with those pistols so I mean I really think these Electric Sky LEDs are really doing a lot of good for all of the plants in here. Because you can see all of them are equally as far as long, the plants or the tops that are on the way outside kind of not getting the main light, those are a little less further along but that is as expected.

And again look at how tall and healthy they all are, no deficiencies or Burns or anything on all of the fan leaves so they're all looking really healthy. And I've got again that fan going down here to keep a little extra circulation down here below the canopy because with no air circulation it makes it easier for pests to get in there and land on the plant. So keeping that are circulating will make sure that they are not down there and no pests are going to infiltrate the soil or the lower parts of the plant. And then it's also going to help prevent spores of mold from Landing down there from it getting too humid and causing  that to form. So good little Health tip right there is to keep a little fan blowing down there.

Nothing too strong because you don't want to be messing up the leaves or anything like that. Now the plants are ready for their next watering so I will be giving them their third plane pH watering since their last nutrients feeding and each plant is probably going to Be getting a gallon two more like a gallon and a half per plant. so I wanted to get a good amount of runoff now that we are in flower, and they seem to really be liking that as I am seeing some really amazing differences in their growth each day. So let's do a quick little update on that nutrient comparison between the dirty dozen buy Fox Farms and Then the flower power package by NukeHeads. so I would definitely say that the back plans which are getting the NukeHeads  nutrients, they are much taller and thicker with vegetative growth.

So I would say that definitely NukeHeads won in terms of that. Now with the buds I would say all of the plants are pretty much as far along as each other. And one doesn't seem further along than the other in terms of the fox farm Plants verse that back row of NukeHeads. but this is still there really early stages of flower development so I'm going to give them a few more weeks before I really decide. Hopefully we will see a different size between the bud size and density between the two so we can get a good look at some differences. So that is it for today's update and I'm going to give them that plane pH watering now, and then I will be back here in 24 hours for the last day of the week. All right peace guys.

Alright Growers we are back here for the last day of week 9 for this NukeHeads grow series. And the flowering growth is continuing to take off. You can see you can see all the different tops, the main ones at top at least are filling up really really well with a ton of pistols and growth, so this is the last day of the week, week 3 of flower which is next week, they're just going to continue to blow up and probably fill out this whole canopy with Bud growth.

So you can see the taller ones of course are the furthest along and getting the best development so far as expected. And it also looks like their growth has leveled off in terms of vegetative growth Because it does not seem like they are getting any closer to those electric sky lights.

So let me just give you guys a couple more nice close-ups here, you can see, let me get it to focus, you can see how nice those pistols are looking. There is no burn and they are just standing straight up and they are nice and white and thick. If at this stage they were already curled over and kind of Browning or turning colors, that means they are burning because they are too close to the light or because it is too hot in the grow room. So very stoked and even the ones that are up close to those lights, you can see they aren’t burned or anything. So these lights are really gentle on them even when they are that close.

So that is really it for today's update, oh yeah they are also ready for their next watering, so that's going to be there next nutrient feeding so what I will be doing today is feeding them week 6 from the fox farm Dirty Dozen schedule and that is only for the front row of plants of course because those are the ones getting the fox farm lineup. And I will be doing that at full strength with a teaspoon of Cal Mag as well per gallon of water. So the week 6 mix and then for the back row I will be doing the NukeHeads plutonium bloom mix again which is about one and a half Scoops per gallon of water. And then I will also be mixing in that one teaspoon of Cal Mag per gallon for that.

Let's do a comparison really quick on the bud growth thus far for the front and back, to be honest I think they look pretty comparable, the back plants are obviously the tallest, but you can see these front guys that are getting the dirty dozen by foxfarm there getting a lot of good growth at the bud sites as well. So it is hard to say if there's a difference just yet, the back plants are definitely bigger. But Bud growth is pretty much the same all the way across the board, so I will also be doing a little defoliation today. So I will probably be removing 5% of the fan leaves just because they are getting pretty crowded in here at this point in there a lot of leaves laying on top of each other so. I will be back here shortly with the next week's update, but until then Happy growing!

Alright GreenBox Growers, that officially concludes week 9 of this NukeHeads grow series. And again that is also week 2 of flower. now these guys are way further ahead than I ever thought they could be this quickly into the flowering phase, so there's Electric Sky LEDs by the Green Sunshine Company are really blowing up these plants and the doing an amazing job so super stoked on that. And of course I will be back shortly with week 3 of flower for this Grow Series where they are going to take off even further. So get excited for that, and as always thank you guys for watching and until next time…

Happy Growing!!!
