Strain Review: Smoking the LST Autoflower Bud

Tangerine Dream & Blue Amnesia Smoke Test

What up GreenBox Growers and welcome back for another lit episode of GreenBox Grown! Now today is a really exciting episode because I'm going to be doing my strain review on the very two strains that I recently grew in that low stress training Autoflower grow series. So I got myself a jar of the Tangerine Dream here as well as the blue Amnesia and these guys have been curing for about two weeks in these jars now and I'm actually smoke a little of each already because I did try them out after just a couple of days in the jar.

But as you guys know weed is a lot like wine when it comes to curing as the longer you cure it for to a certain degree, the better quality is going to be. So I am really excited to try these out again as they have cured further along in the process and I am really excited to show you guys how great of results we got during that grow series. So before I get started I want to remind you guys to check out our GreenBox Grown patreon page where you can sign up for one-on-one grow guidance from myself.

And essentially I will be personally guiding you over the phone each day telling you exactly what you need to do with your plants, to get the best results possible! And that starts at $10 a month and comes with a free trial as well so be sure to check that out on patreon under the GreenBox Grown page. Also don't forget to check out our merge and smoke you're on the green box grown website and now that you guys know what we are doing in today's video, let's get started with a little background information on these two strains here.

All right folks so I decided to bring out the second camera so I could give you guys a close up on these Buds and what I'm smoking on while I do that. And let's see here, I also got out the illadelph and I will be using that for the blue Amnesia test. I also got this new Gandalf pipe and I've only used it about one time, and that is what we will be using for the Tangerine Dream. So I'm going to give you guys some good background info. As you know I just grew both of these strains and my low stress training Autoflower series so I will give you some info as well on how they grew as well as some background and genetic information.

So I've already got some ground up in here and that is some of the Blue Dream, oh I am sorry the blue Amnesia not blue dream. So let me give you guys a couple close ups on that while I am going over the facts. so you can see there is the jar right there and this is an Indica, which actually wore on the sativa side it does have a lot of Indica in it, blue Amnesia but it is a very heavy heavy high. So here's one of the best nugs or at least one of my favorite dogs that I got out of the last grow. You can see that it has a little purple in it and these are just some really dense and extremely Frosty nugs. I think it's about 18% THC for the blue amnesia for those of you who did watch that grows series, the way it grew was really a shorter plant with big fat dense nugs.

So while it did kind of have that Indica growth where it was a shorter plant, used a lot of LST and got a lot of new tops out of it so that is how I was able to increase those yields. But it also made it possible for those nuggs to get really big because they had a lot of space to grow during that stage. All right guys show me a little background info on the blue Amnesia strain. First of all, the parents it comes from or the two strains that are mixed together for it are blueberry of course, and then amnesia. So and this is actually the Tangerine Dream that I'm showing you now here in this jar. It has about as high as 18% THC as I was saying earlier, and it is  good for growing indoors or Outdoors but it seems to be best in an indoor grow setting.

It is 40% Indica 40% sativa in the 20% ruderalis, so it is pretty even across the board in terms of that. And then with my experience and it was about 10 weeks from seed to harvest with the Autoflower of the blue Amnesia strain here, and that was with about 3 weeks of veg and then after that it just start taking off in terms of flowering growth. Now it grew a lot of vegetative growth during the flowering stage as most amnesia's Ansari most autoflowers do. So that was really good as well.

Alright guys so out of the to my favorite is definitely the Tangerine Dream, so let's take a look at that. So this has a really citrusy smell, this blue Amnesia is more on the Dank side it's not as citrusy it is a little sweet. But if you smell the Tangerine Dream that's inside the store you would think you are smelling some sort of like orange peel or something like that. Now the buds are not as big and bulky as the ones on the blue Amnesia plant but you can see these are more like sativa Buds and that they are smaller but still really dense and really Frosty which also means really densely covered with trichomes.

So very happy with how both these strains came out. now with the Tangerine Dream, Barney's farm for those of you who have heard of Barneys,  they are a breeder a seed breeder from Amsterdam and they actually won the Cannabis Cup in 2010 with this Tangerine Dream strain. So this is the Autoflower version so it will be a little different from what they grew but it still comes out really well. So this train is actually a cross between three different strains. So you start off with the G13 Haze and then you mix in a little Afghani as well as some Neville's A5 Haze.

So that is how you breed the Tangerine Dream strain. Now of course if you want it to be an Autoflower you got to incorporate some ruderalis because of that is what gives the plants their autoflowering effect. Here is a good close-up of the pipe I got, it's a Gandalf pipe And you can see this here when you smoke it changes colors so that is pretty cool. So I'm going to start packing a bowl of the blue Amnesia in this illadelph bong I have here, but a couple more things on the Tangerine Dream. It is an Indica dominant plant, but the way it grows surprisingly is it is a lot more like a sativa in the way it grows as it is way taller and Link ear.

And Like I said those buds spread out a little further and instead of being huge big colas it's kind of a lot of little Dense nugs throughout the plant. still really good quality, it's just a different type of plant. Similar to the blue Amnesia, this was another one where it took about 10 weeks from seed to harvest. And then it was about 3 weeks and of the vegetative stage that is where flowering began. So again that is the autoflowering version, but it is still really quick which is nice. And then best of all the THC content can be up to 24-25% for the strain. So very strong strain more of a sativa High because of how strong it is it does hit like an indica.

So now I'm going to give you guys, here is my bowl that I just packed. So you can look that here and I'm not packing huge bowls Here just because it is more for that testing but still very excited on this one. I love the Tangerine Dream so far. All right cheers guys! So first off very smooth and you can taste that citrusy taste right away. There it is burnt, so you kind of get that haze taste on the way out. So immediately I can feel it right here on the front of my forehead up top as well as right above my eyes, like my eye Brown Line. I can feel it just like a really warm sensation, very relaxing and this is about my second hit of the day too so still very fresh too so that's nice.

But yeah very strong so far, and again that's the blue Amnesia so 18% THC is what it grows to around or that is what the breeder recommends. One thing I forgot to mention too, so these blue Amnesia seeds that I agree with, these came from the ministry of cannabis and then the Tangerine Dream I got from Growers choice. So both very reliable seed banks and really I'm just really stoked on the results I got from their genetics. So highly recommend Growers Choice as well as the ministry of cannabis.

Alright so I'm going to take a separate trip here and I want to show you guys the different color that Ash turns so that you can see what it looks like when it is properly flushed. So you can see it is starting to turn gray it's not quite there yet but by the time this bowl is done it will be completely grey or a white color. And that is how you can tell if your bud has been flushed properly or not. That's why I do two weeks because I really like to flush them out good. If it stays a dark color brown or blackish color that means it was not flushed properly and there are some minerals or nutrients that were left behind.

Let me give you a good close-up this other nug right here, this is another one of those blue Amnesia nugs from the  second plant though this isn't the same plant that that first nug I smoked was from. Bam! Okay so I'm going to pour out what is left in the grinder of the blue Amnesia so we don't mix them up. Now I'm going to grind up some of this Tangerine Dream so let's find a nice little nuggie in here. This guy  right on top. I mean uh! I'm telling you it smells so good it's like picking your head into a bag of Skittles or something. It's just so citrusy and pretty it's like heaven in there.

Alright so that is the close up for this Tangerine Dream Bud that I will grind up now in the grinder. And I will be using that Gandalf pipe, for this one. So you can just feel the thing with these I put them in the jar after they've been done hang drying I left them in there for about 2 days. And they had already felt like they finish the curing process. Now I'll still be doing it over the next couple of months but point being they weren't Airy or anything like that like poorly grown buds are or over dried buds they were just super dense. But not crispy or anything like that. Just that perfect consistency and stickiness you know it was just really good dense buds. I'm really stoked about that.

Another thing that is pretty cool is that one of the plants has seemed to have hermied as I am finding some seeds and the grinder when I grind it up. And when you grind up that Tangerine Dream it just explodes with smell. It is amazing how strong it is when you bust the nuggs open like that. And it is so sticky it is amazing. But anyways like I was saying we are getting some seeds from one of the plants as it her meet a little bit, so I'm going to do a bag seed Ceres. Because I know a lot of you guys like to start with seeds you found in a bag you bought or just from, well I don't think anyone is getting seeds in their weed from a dispensary and if you do you should probably stop going there.

It is going to be a series I do where I grow the seeds so that those of you who are growing back so you can see how to do it properly. So I've got my bowl of the Tangerine Dream packed here and my Gandalf pipe, and now time for a little ripio. Cheers guys! Very smooth again, got that you can't really get the citrusy taste on the way out it's more like a dank taste. But still really smooth and this one I'm feeling it more on the back of my head to the top of my head but that could also be from the blue Amnesia because it did kick in a little more stronger while I was waiting to take that second hit.

Definitely feeling more in my body from the Tangerine Dream, which I did not feel as much from the blue Amnesia. So that is a good combination here as well. Let's see what else, let me take another hit so I can show you guys to that this one was properly flushed. So yeah you can see it is already turning gray, which is what you want. Now I have  like I said smoke these two strains already before I think it was once or twice. but with the blue Amnesia I noticed it was really good, I have some severe back And neck pain and I've noticed the blue Amnesia helps a lot with that.

You know getting home after work I do work a physical job during the day. So getting home after work and having a bowl of this does help, and then laying down for maybe five or ten minutes to let the we just settle in. And relax my muscles. And then I get up and it's almost like I don't have any back pain. It does help with my  knee some too which is from a torn ACL I had a while back but I did find the Tangerine Dream is a more uplifting daytime energetic High. It is not as good for the pain relief it didn't seem to help as much for myself at least for the pain.

But like I said it was a good high and it was very enjoyable and it was fun for having on the nice sunny day for when you're going to go hang out with your friends at the beach or something like that. So highly recommend growing both of these strains as they are really easy to grow and you're going to get top shelf results without having to you know be a top-shelf kind of grower. So let me just give you guys one last look in these lovely jars here. And I'll be doing some more strain reviews on my strains that I am growing and harvesting here as well as any strains that you guys request or want me to go get at the dispensary and try out.

So I can do a video for you guys on that, definitely comment or send me an email about that if you want to do something. I do concentrates as well and I will be doing some hash reviews here pretty quick because I do have a bubble hash machine. So hopefully I get some good product that I can put through that and yeah that pretty much sums Up 2 Days review and I really enjoyed both of these, the Tangerine Dream and the blue Amnesia and I hope you guys enjoyed watching. alright GreenBox Growers that concludes my strain review today on the Tangerine Dream as well as the blue Amnesia here and remember these were both grown at home by Yours Truly during that Autoflower low-stress training groceries. So I hope you guys enjoyed the video, and as always thank you guys for watching and until next time…

Happy Growing!

Part 2 of the LST AutoFlower Grow Series: Seedling Stage

Autoflower Seedling Stage

What's up Cannabis Growers and welcome back for the LST Autoflower grow series by GreenBox Grown.  So in today's video I'm going to pick up right where I left off in the last video where I germinated my Autoflower seeds and I'm now going to Cover the seedling phase during this video. This video will lead you right up to the vegetation stage with your plants, and then that is where you want to jump over to part 3 of this grow series.

Before I get started with this video I’d like to mention as always, to check out our patreon page from the link below in description, And to sign up for one of our grow packages if you want to work one-on-one with a grow expert on a daily basis so you can get the best results from your home grow. All right now that you guys know what we're doing let's get start with the video!

Alright folks, here we are at the seedling station about 12 hours after I planted the seeds into the rockwool cubes. Two of them have already sprouted above ground already, and the other two haven't popped up but they might have a little bit coming through, but what I'm going to do is pull the lid off and first turn the LED light off. So you guys can see how everything looks and then I'll turn on the white light. All right now I'll take off the lid, so you guys can see how they are.

Alright, so up close you can see they are just barely standing up out of the tops of the rockwool cubes. And this tangerine dream, I’m sorry, this Blue amnesia is standing up a little taller. so it looks like we've got one of the Tangerine Dream standing and one of the blue Amnesia. So now I'm just going to give them a misting as well as spray the inside of the humidity Dome and put the lid back on, and I'll check back in a few hours to see how they’re doing.

All right So I’m spraying them and this is pH’d water in the range of 5.5 to 6.5 and you want to remember to always have some water in the bottom tray here in the slats.  And of course this humidity down as it's really important to have a high humidity during the seedling and germination stage as they really enjoy those kinds of conditions as it helps them start off their root zone properly. Alright, I will be back when there's an update and the seeds have popped up a little further.

All right folks here we are the very next day, and all four of the seeds have popped up through the rockwool cubes. So I'm going to give you guys a close up of that really quick with the LED lights off. And again you're going to want to continue misting everyday, the inside of the humidity Dome as well as the plants and the seedlings, but that's what they are at this point. And you also want to make sure there's a slight amount of water in the bottom tray at all time so that keeps the humidity high, and it allows them to drink that water out. So they don't dry out.

Alright so here's a little close up, this is the last one to pop up so a little weaker than the rest at this moment, but it will get better by tomorrow. The others you can see are doing really well, this one in the back is actually already dropped at see it off and is showing its Coachella Don leaves. But the other two still have the seed on, probably by tomorrow they'll have it off. For now just happy that they all popped up above ground and again I'm just going to miss them right now, and I'll be back tomorrow with an update. Hopefully they'll be a little bigger at that point.

All right folks, here we are another 24 hours later and you can see in this tent right now it's about 75 degrees 76 degrees, so it's a little hotter inside the dome, which is fine. And the humidity is probably in the 70 to 80% range which is good for the stage as well. Again I'm still misting each day, and feeling the slats with pH water at the same level of 5.5. And today it looks like the seedlings have grown a little bit in height, they haven't shown all of their first leaves yet. Just that one in the back right has. Let me get this white light on for you guys to make it a little easier to see what's going on.

So yeah the one in the back right here, it's starting to grow its first set of leaves and it's already got it’s cotyledon leaves showing. And then this blue Amnesia is about to open up its cotyledon leaves, it's not quite there yet, and he's other to have a little ways to go. But again you can see I'm keeping water in the slats below and I'm missing the interior several times throughout the day. And that's the interior of the Dome. Alright I'll be back tomorrow with an update and hopefully these guys will have all of their cotyledon leaves showing.

All right guys, here we are the next day and they are still not sprouting out those four sets of leaves. Just the first Tangerine Dream that already had its cotyledon leaves is doing that. You can see all the other ones have their first set of leaves developed, it's just that for whatever reason the shell is either still stuck on and isn't letting them open up, or the shell fell off like this one and it's just there being stubborn and they don't want to open. Cuz you can't see this one does have its first set of leaves kind of going out there it's just a good till dawn leaves are stuck at the top. And don't want to spread open. So I'm going to keep giving them to miss being and water at 5.5 pH and I will be back tomorrow hopefully with these guys showing their first leaves and having the seed fall off, but in the meantime just keeping the humidity high and keeping temp chair around 75° Fahrenheit and that's it.

Here we are the very next day and you can see the seeds, couple of them still have the seed shell stuck on top of them and we don't want that because if you do leave it on after a while it will get stuck, so what I'm going to do today is pull them off very gently with this clean pair of tweezers. And so I mean when I say carefully, I mean very carefully you don't want any tugging on the plant, cuz that will damage the root zone and stunt the plant pretty much ending it right there.

Alright, so this back one is coming off a lot more easily, so there it goes. See if I can get a close-up of that but yeah there you go. All right so yeah now hopefully this one will open up its leaves and the cotyledon leaves have already developed. It looks like its first leaves have developed, so it just needs to open up. Now this one's being a little more difficult, let's see. There it is okay. Alright, so now that is off, and I'll give you a close up of that one. You can see it wants to open up already, the plant, it's just been kind of stuck with the seed on Top. This is just 5 minutes later and you can see this guy's already opening up.  And what I did is after I pause the last video I missed add these plants a little bit, making sure I got drops of water right on top. Cuz you will see the ones that are still closed there's a little casing from the seed that was left behind, that think they're on the cotyledon leaves. And that's what's holding them shut. So all I really did was messed up here on that casing so I soaked it, and it eventually dissolved it and I poked at it a little bit to try and separate the two cotyledon leaves. But after a little bit this one did open up. It's going to take a little bit for the leaves to unfold since they've been wrapped up and they're all this time, but they will make it you just need to give him a little time. Alright guys I'll be back tomorrow, hopefully these last two will open and will be Off to the Races.

All right this is actually the same day, and I'm coming back cuz I did just get this second Tangerine Dream to open up. And it's actually I want to show you guys how I did it, sometimes they say this happens because the humidity wasn't high enough in the humidity Dome, so the seed kind of hardens as well as they casing that's under it that's over the leaves. And that is why it stays on and sticks to it. So I'm going to try and show you guys how you can just pull off the casing, and it's kind of just stuck. There we go. And once you pull that little casing off the leaves will open up and the Austin growing. So there it is up close the little casing that was keeping them from opening. Okay now that I got these guys open I will be back tomorrow and hopefully they'll have some fish growth going at that point.

This is another 24 hours later and you can see the humidity is really good in this down right now as it's all foggy and Misty on the walls. The seedlings are getting some good growth right now As well, you can see now that they've all opened up their first set of leaves are developing really nicely. A few things, they're almost ready for transplant into the Solo cups. And what I'm looking for is a root out of the bottom, as well as a little bit more in terms of vegetative growth. So if this one does have a little root coming out, but sent it to just open up a day ago with the foliage I'm going to give it some more time. So hopefully by tomorrow they will be ready for the solo cups.

But if not we'll just keep them in here with the same settings, temperature and humidity. I'm not sure if I mentioned this in one of the earlier videos, but it's important with these rockwool cubes that you keep this covering on on the outside. It seems like you're supposed to rip it off but not until you put these in soil speak to you want to take this rapper off. So leave that on for this stage and I'll bring that up again during transplant to remove it. Finally I want to talk to them slowly over the phone. So what do you want to do is harden off the plants and what that means is get them used to the conditions and environment of your grow room.

So what you're going to want to do is Once you've transplanted them into the Solo Cup, you're going to start opening these up a little bit each day. Until they're opened up all the way, and at that point you're going to start cracking the lid and putting something under here so it opens up a little. And eventually you'll just have the lid completely off and they'll be completely adapted to the environment. So it's around this stage you want to be opening the vents a little bit each day, or you can wait until they are in the Solo cups at the very latest.

During this stage you still want to be missing the plant several times each day, as well as the interior of the humidity Dome. And make sure there's always water in the slats at the bottom, so I need to add a little bit more and I'll do that right after this video. Alright guys I'm stoked today because these babies are finally ready to be transplanted into their Solo cups. That means we are very close to starting the vegetative stage and ending the seedling stage. So first let me give you guys a close look at what these guys should look like once they're ready. Most of them don't have their Tap Root growing out of the bottom, of the rockwool cube, but they do have two sets of fan leaves over the Coachella don't leaves. So that is a good sign to show they are ready even if there isn't a root coming out of the bottom like this guy here. They're probably just filling up the rockwool cube here with roots they're going to laterally instead of down. So I'm going to take these rappers off and then plant them in the Solo cups, but first let's check out the supplies you will need.

So you're going to of course need your Solo cups, and I've got four of them here since I've got for plants. You're going to want to cut some holes as well as slits around the bottom and Lower Side of the cut and that's just for drainage. And I'm using this Fox Farm soil which is going to be my potting soil and once we're in here we're going to want to start using a pH of 6.3 is that's what works best in Fox Farm. All right guys up or step one I'm just going to fill the Solo Cup a few inches from the top with a soil cuz you do want to be able to Berry the plug in there, I'm sorry the rockwool cube. You wanted to be completely covered with soil once planted. That is about 4 inches from the top and tall So that should Almost Persuaded line up with the broom at the top of the cups of the plants base is right there as well and that's exactly what you want.

All right So now I've got my first Solo Cup ready, so I'm going to take this Tangerine, to poets will tag out there, and I'm going to start it does have a rude at the bottom but I'm going to start by cutting off the rapper of the rockwool cube. And this is something you want to be very careful with as you don't want to squeeze the cube or damage it. You don't want to apply any pressure to it cuz that can damage the root zone so just cut this off very gently and then pull it off. You can see there are roots coming out the side there which is most likely what's going on with these other ones and why there aren't roots coming out of bottom

Now I put this guy and like so and bury it with soil so it's completely submerged and covered. You also want to make sure the cube is flat and not leaning to one side cuz that can cause problems. All right here we are with this finish transplant into the show of cut and you can see so I got it so the ceiling is right in the center of the cup and not willing to the side. You just want to gently pack the top don't push too much down, make sure not much is spilling over. And once you're done with that you want to give it a little misting with that water. As well as a light light watering and in fact if you missed it enough that will suck the soil just enough that you don't even need to water.

Now I keep them in the humidity Dome and you want to keep a little water in the slats below still. Just about a quarter inch tall of water and you want to keep missing the insides here daily as well as the plants. You're going to start opening the vents more and more each day, so right now I just got home cracked but I'm going to open them up almost halfway for today now that they are transplanted. And then in the next video I'll show you where we go from there. Now that we have finished transplant the rest of the seedlings and I'll show you what that looks like.

All right here all four of them being finished transplant into the Solo cups. I'm going to keep missing them like I was saying but I'm going to open the vents lightly and I'm going to keep them on the same 18 hours of light on with 6 hours of Darkness each day. And I'll be back with the next video where I finished out the seedling stage and we get to vegetation where we transfer vinyl pots

Alright folks, that concludes part 1 of the seedling phase for my LST Autoflower grow, and I'll be back in the next video to show you guys the rest of the seedling stage as well as the beginning of vegetation where I transplant these guys into their final 2 gallon pots in the main tent. Now in the meantime if you guys enjoyed the video please give it a thumbs up and comment below with your feedback. Introducing the Autoflower w/ Low Stress Training Grow Series

Quadruple Your AutoFlower Yields with LST

What’s Up Cannabis Growers and welcome back to GreenBox Grown!  Today is officially the first video for my LST Autoflower grow that I've been mentioning. What that means is I'm going to be doing low stress training for the entire grow of my Autoflower plants. So this video is going to be the germination process, and the first steps of that at least.  And I'm also going to show you guys the grow room and the set up I'll be using for this grow, so now that you guys know what the video is all about, let's get started!

So before I show you guys the grow setup, I'm going to get these seeds in the water germinating first. The way this is done is you're going to want to pH your water anywhere in the range of 5.5 to 6.5.  I've got these two glasses here at 5.5. I've got one glass for my Tangerine Dream seeds that I'll be germinating and I'll have two of those going. And the other glass is for my blue Amnesia seeds courtesy of The Ministry of Cannabis, and I'll be doing two of those as well.

And the Tangerine Dream seeds come from The Growers Choice seeds website. So once you have your two glasses, and I'm having two glasses so I can have one for each strain and I can keep them separate and keep track of them that way. So once you have that water PHd, all you have to do is put your seeds in the water, and you'll leave them in there for 14 to 18 hours. You want to get them to try and sink to the bottom of the glass, they may not always do that and sometimes they have to give the guys for a few hours first. And then you can push them down.

So here we go, I got one, so this is the Tangerine Dream glass, so I got one. 2 and now I'll put the blue dream, I'm sorry the blue Amnesia seeds in their glass. And I'll just leave them in here overnight as well as some of tomorrow, and once they hit that 14 to 18 hour range of being in the glasses, I'm going to then put them in a moist paper towel which will be the next shot in this video. I'll leave them in there until their Tap Root grows out. 1 blue Amnesia, to Blue Amnesia, these are autoflowers as I have mentioned. Once the Taproot is about half an inch in length, I'll be planting them and these rockwool cubes here in these are 1 and 1/2 inch by one and a half in, but there will be more details on that once we get to that point.

So now I have my seeds in here soaking, and I'm going to wait a couple of hours where I push them to the bottom. And in the meantime let's go check out the grow setup. All right here we are with the seeds in the glasses of water and then still not sinking to the bottom. You can try tapping them like this pushing them down, and they usually just go on their own. So just leave them for now and keep pushing them down every hour or so.

Once those have germinated and are in their rockwool cubes, I'll be putting them in this Little Seedling tent and you'll see I've got the 45 watt LED light there. The humidity Dome and tray, as well as a little heat mat which I'll use for when they're in the paper towels as well as it's good for keeping them warm. I've got the humidity and temperature thermometer as well as the wifi-enabled light switch. So I can turn things on and off on my smartphone, such as little light, the fan, as well as the heater.

Over here you can see I have the rest of the equipment, such as my grow light and this is a 900 watt viparspectra LED. I'm going to be doing LST of course, as that is what this entire grow is all about. And what I'm going to do since I'm going to be in fabric pots, I'm going to put these around the edges like so, so you have these handles up top.  Clip it down like that handles up top, and then I'll use this garden wire to pull the branches down and loop it through and tie it through these like hooks.

So I'll use this is kind of as an anchoring point. Got my carbon filter of course over here, and the big fan that goes with it. I've got the ratcheting light hangers so I can adjust the height of the lights. That is really key. So let's go check out the tent really quickly and then I'll show you guys the seeds. Hopefully they’ll be falling down to the bottom of the glass.

Here is the tent and this is a 48 inch by 48 inch by 6 and 1/2 feet. I'll have my fans and lights set up in here but while the seeds are germinating I just have it empty with the supplies down there. I'll show you once it's all set up and ready to go. So the seeds aren't really going down just yet so I'm going to give them a few more tries to soak in. But just keep trying with yours until they sink to the bottom, give them about 30 minutes at a time to stoke a little longer and then they should go down. But I'll be back once the seeds have finished up there 14 to 18 hours of soaking and then we'll put them in the most paper towel on the paper plate.

Here we are about 14 hours, 14 and a half hours later. From when I put the seeds into the glasses of water. So last night I was able to get the seeds to sink to the bottom, so you see they are at the bottom now. If you are not able to that's okay, it is just better to get them to sink to the bottom. So now what we are going to be doing is putting them in here in a paper towel that's soaked in that water. And then I'm going to put them on this place, and what that is going to do is cause them to crack open and grow out their first Taproot.

I'll have them on his heat mat right here, and this light will be off cuz you want to keep them in a dark environment with some good air movement, but you want them to be warm. That will help speed up the process of germinating the seeds and getting them the crack. So that's what this heat mat is 4 and I made turn on this space heater hear just barely, so I can help warm up the room a little bit here.  As it is a bit chilly here right now in Northern California.

So I'm going to dump out some of this excess water that is in the cups right now. Then I'll show you guys how to pour them out onto the plates. So I emptied out some of the water, I still have a little bit left cuz I do want to soak the paper towels so they are moist. You don't want them so they are sopping wet, but you do want them moist. So what I did is I took a few paper towels and I folded them over, and then I labeled each play with the strain that will be on there. So I will start with the Tangerine Dream and all you have to do is pour it out onto this napkin. And on the plate like so. Spread the water out, make sure there isn't a pool of water either, so I will be draining a lot off here and I'll show you that.

But but then once that's done, you're going to fold a paper towel over the seeds so they are completely wrapped in the voice blanket of paper towel. Now I'm going to do the blue Amnesia seeds and yeah definitely too much water, so I'm going to pour this out in a second here and then I'll show you what it looks like once the water has been poured out. All right all the excess water has been dumped out, so you can see here there isn't any water moving around and the paper towel is moist and has been soaked but it is not dripping wet. And that is exactly how you want it to be.

So once you got it like this you just want to cover the seeds with a paper towel by folding it over so you're going to go like that and like that and that's it. Very simple and you're going to want to keep the seeds in the dark so this light is just on right now for showing the video, but once we're done filming here I'm going to turn it off and close out this little Grow room so they are in complete darkness. I'm going to try to keep the temperature at 75 degrees so that will help them germinate a little more quickly and with getting that Taproot going.

Once the Taproot is about a half an inch in length, that is when I’m going to plant it in the rockwool cube. And I will give you guys a couple of shots over the next couple of days of the roots popping out, and then I'll start planting the seeds in rockwool cubes.  All right here we are about 12 hours later, and a common thing that'll happen is the paper towels will dry out. These are still slightly damp but they need to be a little more than this.

So all you have to do is get a cup of water from the faucet, and pour it lightly on to the paper towel so you resoak them. And again you don't want a puddle to form on the plate, you just want the paper towel to be holding the right amount of water. So it's not overly wet. It's important to check on your paper towel as frequently as you can, I do it every 3 to 4 hours just to make sure it doesn't dry out, because if it does try out that can cause a lot of problems and can easily start the seeds. You obviously don't want that to happen.

Here we are another day later and the seeds have cracked open and some of them already have a Taproot growing out so I just want to show you guys. You can see this one's got about a quarter inch in length of a Taproot.  This one just has a little bit, so this guy I'm going to wait till it is a little longer and then I'm going to plant them both at the same time so they're on the same track. So those are the blue Amnesia seeds, and then the Tangerine Dream seeds are a little behind. One of them has not talked yet but the other has.

But the roots are growing pretty slow as you can see on the one on the left there. So yeah another day or so and then these guys will be put into their rockwool cubes. All right here we are 12 hours later and the seeds have sprouted tap roots that are about a half inch to a little bit longer in length, so that means they are ready to be planted into their rockwool cubes. Here you can see the seeds and their Taproot. Transplanting them into the rockwool cubes is a very easy process, but there are a few steps to it.

First, you're going to want to obviously have your rockwool cubes which I have grodan cubes right here. These are the 2 inch by 2 inch cubes which is a perfect size. Then you're going to want to get a bowl of water and then you're going to want pH it to 5.5, and you're going to soak the rockwool cube in there before you put the seed in. So what you're going to do is completely submerge the cube and it's full of water for 10 seconds, and then you're going to place it into the tray here where you will put the seed into the little hole in the middle of the cube.

Then you will cover that hole so there is no light getting in, and that is essentially the whole process.  Alright so let's get started with doing the first blue Amnesia seed. Before I get started I want to give you guys a quick intro to the conditions you want to have for this set up. So you'll see I've got my tray and there is pH water at 5.5 in the bottom there, and that is just so it helps with keeping a high humidity once the Dome goes on as well as with keeping these rockwool cubes wet. You'll see I have a temperature humidity monitor in the tray and you're going to want to keep temperature around 75 degrees Fahrenheit and humidity is going to be in the range of 65 to 75%. And so it's going to be a little low right now because the humidity dome is not on, but that is okay because it will go up once I put it on.

Alright guys, so again like I said take your Cube, you're going to have to break it off and here is the whole I was talking about. That is where the seed will go Root Down of course. So I'm going to just soak it in the pH water for 10 seconds, and again that is at 5.5 pH. You're not going to squeeze the cube afterwards either, you're just going to pull it right out and then put it in the tray with the whole up of course. And then I'm going to take my plate with the Blue Amnesia seeds.

Don't touch the root with your fingers as well as you don't want to get any of your oils on there, so just be gentle when you grab the seed and to go route down. And you're going to want it be completely below the surface so it is not above and getting in the sunlight or the grow light. And then you're just going to kind of use your fingers to push it together at the top like so. Again so no light gets in.

All right, so that's just one see done after I have all of the other seats. Actually first I'm going to take, I've got my blue Amnesia marker so you can see and remember which cube is which I'm just going to put that in there. Once I'm done with all of these I'll put this humidity Dome on with the vents completely closed. I'm going to spray the inside and missed it and miss everything here so it's high humidity and then I'll close up and I'll be all done. So let me get the other cubes filled with the Seas and I'll be right back.

Alright, all of the seeds have been planted in their rockwool cubes so I'm now going to mist the interior of the humidity Dome. And that's going to be with pH water at 5.5. And you're going to want to mist the interior of this dome several times each day throughout the day and And you're also going to want to mist your plants and make sure there is a slight amount of water in the tray below, I like to fill it so the slats are just filled almost to the top but not all the ways you don't want to drown the plants.

You also want to make sure these guys are getting 18 hours of light each day as well as 6 hours of complete darkness. And within 12 to 24 hours you should see the seed pop up above the rockwool cube, and that will officially be the start of the seedling stage which is where next video will start with these seeds right here. Here is also a quick shot with the quick LED light on. And that's a 45 watt light, I'm using that instead of the white light as it seems to work best with the seedlings. But it's just really cool saying that.

Alright folks, that concludes part one of my LST Autoflower grow, which is the germination stage. I'll be back with part 2 of this grow which will be the seedling phase and that will eventually lead into vegetation.  In the meantime, if you enjoyed this video please give it a thumbs up and don't forget to comment below with your feedback.
