20% OFF Bonza Seed Bank Seeds!!!

20% OFF Bonza Seeds Entire Strain Selection!

(Limited Time Offer)

I am excited to announce that Bonza Seed Bank is currently doing a Store Wide Sale of 20% OFF every Strain. That's right, 20% OFF Bonza Seeds Entire Store! This is for a limited time offer of course, and will probably last till made June 2017, although they haven't exactly made that part clear.

In the video I show you that in order to receive the discount, all you have to do is add the seeds to your cart and they will be automatically discounted. Again, this is for every seed available in their store, so all you do is choose your desired strain and how many seeds you would like, add to cart and you are all set!

If you are watching this video on the Greenbox Grown Blog, click the Seeds button in the navigation bar to visit the Bonza SeedBank Website. If you are viewing this video from Youtube, simply click the link at the top of the description section.

Bonza Seeds is an awesome company for several reasons, one being they carry top notch seeds and strains. But another reason I love them so much is because they actually have a Freebies and Promos section on their website. Bonza Seeds runs promotions so frequently, that they have a separate page on their website that lists which ones are currently running (There are sometimes multiple deals running at one time). You can find this page in the main navigation menu, which is linked in the description section.

This is a limited time offer, so be sure to take advantage while you still can. And remember that Bonza Seeds comes HIGHLY recommended by the GreenBox Grown Team, so you can order from this company with confidence!

Grow Update: Northern Lights Bonza SeedBank

Grow Update: Northern Lights Bonza SeedBank

Northern Lights Autoflower Seedlings from Bonza Seeds

Today I am showing you guys an update on my Northern Lights AutoFlower Seedlings.

The seeds were germinated using the moist paper towel method, and then were planted tap root down into rapid rooters. The rapid rooters were then placed in a humidity dome with the vents completely closed for max humidity. After about 24 hours, all of the seeds had sprouted above ground with their cotyledon leaves opened. after 36 hours, 6 out of the 7 seeds were already on to their second set of serrated true leaves!

After about 48 hours, all 7 of the rapid rooters had roots coming out of the bottom and sides. At this point I decided it was time to transplant plant the rapid rooters into solo cups. This allows the seedlings to grow a larger root system as they have more space. I don't recommend going directly into 2 gallon smart pots because it can make it difficult for your tiny plant to grow and take hold. It also makes it a lot more difficult to properly water your plant.

The seedlings were transplanted into solo cups that had holes and slits at the bottom for proper drainage. The Growing medium is a 50/50 mix of Coco Coir/Perlite with Fox Farms Ocean Forest. Since the fox farms soil has some nutrients of its own already, I recommend waiting extra long for adding nutes to the seedlings. Be sure to bury the rapid rooters all the way to the their tops and to cover that with growing medium, like in the video. Once you have finished that step you can put the seedlings back into the dome.

One thing I forgot to mention is the constant lowering of humidity over this time period. Once your cannabis seeds have their first set of cotyledon leaves, they are in the seedling stage. It is at this point you want to start preparing your plants for the outside world. This starts with slightly lowering the humidity each day, until the plants can be taken out of the dome. I start by cracking the two vents on the dome open, and then open them a little more each day. Once they are completely open, you can take the dome partially off of the tray. After about 10 days you should have worked up to having the dome completely off for good.

I would also like to mention that there is no need for nutrients with these seedlings until they have grown to at least their fifth node. At this point the seedlings are focusing most of their energy on root and fan leaf growth. Over the next couple of weeks you will see lots of growth from your plants as they begin the vegetative state.

Overall, I would say I am very pleased with how these seeds are growing thus far, and am once again very happy with the genetics I received from Bonza Seeds!  I highly recommend using Bonza when purchasing seeds, as they have some of the best genetics around, and deliver their product in a very convenient packaging.

I will be back in a couple of weeks with a new update on these Northern Lights Autoflowers, which should be right around the time I transplant them into their final 2 gallon smart pots.

Until then, Happy Growing!
