Week 9 of the Low Stress Training Autoflower Grow Series

Almost time to Harvest the Blue Amnesia Buds

What up GreenBox Growers and welcome back to the most lit cannabis grow Channel on YouTube! Not today is that the official start a week 9 for my low stress training Autoflower grow serious. So I will be continuing with flushing those blue Amnesia plants and I will continue also with the nutrients schedule for the tangerine dream's and hopefully they will be ready for flushing as well pretty soon here. So before I get started with today's video I want to remind you guys that if you are trying to start your own cannabis grow at home for the first time or you have already started and are struggling and need some help. I do offer one-on-one grow guidance where I'll hope you each day over the phone and kind of guide you along with what to do to your plants, so you get the best results.

If you are interested I'm currently offering a free trial to this service as well, so just check out my contact info Down Below in the description, and feel free to hit me up for info on how to sign up for that. No I don't want to forget to remind you guys to check out our merch on the website under MERCH and SMOKE, and now that you know what we are doing and today's video Let's Get start with day 1 of the week!

Alrighty Growers we are out here in the garage for day 1 of the week, and you can see the buds on those Tangerine Dream plants are still fattening up really well each day. The buds on the blue Amnesia plants are not really growing in size anymore, they are kind of fattening up a little bit, but most growth is pretty much finished at this point. And the trichomes are pretty much just maturing as time goes on. Again I am still flushing these Buds and that's going to be another week and a half and that is really just to clean out the buds and to get all of those nutrients and minerals out of there or whatever it is that is Left Behind from the nutrients you use. And that way you have a cleaner better-tasting smoke in the end. Now here is a good shot on the Tangerine Dream plants and I'm going to bring in light so you guys can see better.

But let's see if we can get it to focus, right so you can see in there still growing in size and the hairs are still all white and standing up. They are starting to curl up towards the buds here and there, but not too much so just going to let them keep growing, and you can see they are starting to grow towards each other and connect almost, but they are definitely growing in size and getting larger. So yesterday was a plane pH watering and obviously a continuing for the flush, of these guys, so I'm going to wait a few more days or at least until tomorrow before I water them again and in the meantime just keeping temperature in that range of 67 to 77 degrees Fahrenheit. And then the humidity around 50 to 55%. All right guys I will see you in 24 hours for your next update.

What up Growers we are back 24 hours later for day 2 of the week, and I just checked the soil and the plants are ready for their next watering so that's going to be another plain pH water at 6.3, and I've got that mixed up right here so I'm just about to give that to them. And that is the second plane pH watering since the last nutrient feeding for the Tangerine Dream plants, and of course I think this is the third watering since the beginning of the flush for the Blue Amnesias. So not going To show you guys the watering cuz you of course I've seen this several times before, but I am giving them over a gallon of water each per plant not like a gallon and a quarter but more like a gallon and 1/8 Maybe.

So really a good amount of water and getting around 30 to 35% runoff out of all of them, and you can see what the blue Amnesia buds they aren't going to get much bigger, but they are just kind of finishing up with their trichome development and letting them finish up to those perfect levels. Now these buds on the Tangerine Dream are so fattening up as you can see, looking really good of course and nice and Frosty. And those trichomes are really packing on, but they are mainly milky right now still some cloudy like a little bit 1% 2% Amber but not much more than that. And the same goes for the Tangerine Dream in the back here.

All right guy so I actually wanted to show you the Blue Amnesia Buds in the back here as I haven't given you a close look on those lately. And those are really looking really good, so let me give you guys a quick close up! And let's see if I can give you a good shot so you can see his nice orange hairs and bulbous like buds that are curling in. You can see up close how Frosty it is really getting and I mean let's see here, all right so here are some good shots of the bud So you can see it's kind of a weird angle but this is really the easiest way to get that for y'all. And that one right there is really looking nice so very excited to smoke these in the very near future. So yeah I just wanted to show you guys that and that is it for today's update, so I will be back in another 24 hours for day 3 of the week!

All right guys here we are another 24 hours later for day 3 of week 9, and you can see I left the purple lights on today just so you can get a different look at the buds since I haven't done a shot with these on and awhile. So buds are still developing really nicely and fattening up on the Tangerine Dreams, and I am still continuing with flushing on the Blue Amnesia plant. Now the blue amnesia's are a little bit ahead so I'm thinking I might shorten that flush. Buy a few days and just go for a 10-day flush opposed to a 14-day flush. But we will finish out this week just since this was the start of flush and then we will go from there and decide what to do.

No I'm going to give you guys a quick close up on the buds, and then I'm also going to give you guys a nice look at the Tangerine Dream trichomes as I haven't given you an update on those in a minute. So here is the first of all the Tangerine Dream main Cola here in the front plant, looking really good and filling out. you can see those hairs are curling and more and more and turning more orange which is a sign of getting closer to maturity, or full maturity that is. You can see all of the other side colas are doing really well also and are almost the same size as this guy up here.

And then the Tangerine Dream in the back is looking good as well, fattening up well I guess you could say as big as the one in the front it has some more white hair standing up at this point though. So a sign that it does have a little bit further to go in terms of flower. But like I said I will probably be doing another nutrients eating or two for the tangerine dream's quick look at the Blue Amnesia in the front. As always the All Star Of the group! And down below those buds are looking really big and Frosty and are even getting pretty fat, but at this point it's just about flushing and not really getting more growth going on. And same with the blue Amnesia in the back so let me give you a good shot of that.

Really nice looking buds nice and dance with those really fat curly hair is going in. And you can see they're just going to be really nice tight nugs and I can't wait for the Harvest video of the series cuz that is going to be real nice. Alright so now let me give you guys I look at these trichomes on the Tangerine dreams right here. Alright guys so I've got my scope right here my macro lens that I will be clipping on to my iPhone. And now that we have our trichome vision on, let's take a look at this mean Tangerine Dream Bud right here in the front. and this is obviously the slow mo clip so you guys can get a better idea of how they look because in regular speed pretty tricky to see.

From what I can see just filming right now in regular speed it looks like lots of white and milky but not really any clear trichomes left. And I'm not really seeing any amber yet, but when it's in slo-mo I'll be able to have a better look and a better idea. But there is some good shots for you guys, alright in there we are that is the bud we were just looking at with a try comes under the scope. Pretty much all milky looking and hopefully are going to start turning Amber and at that point is when I will begin the flush. So that is it for today's video on the low stress training Autoflower series, but I will be back of course in 24 hours for your next update. Alright peace guys!

Alright guys we are back for day 4 of the week, and the plants are ready for their next plane pH watering. Of course that is a flushing for the blue amnesia's, but that just means plain pH water at 6.3 for all for plants. And I will be really soaking all of them with just over a gallon as usual, I will not be showing you guys the watering as usual again as you've already seen me do that plenty of times and it's just going to be the same routine. But what I will do today is give you guys some close-ups on those buds so you can see how they are developing. So again this is that Tangerine Dream that's been developing in the front here on that main Cola and I'll show you all the way down on those top so you can see how they are developing underneath as well.

Everything is looking really nice and sunny at those orange hairs going and curling in towards the bud. And getting bigger and frosty so these are getting pretty close almost ready for their flesh to start and again here is that blue Amnesia in the front for you guys to see.  But yeah that's part of the girls kind of slow because all we are doing is Flushing the plants or watering them at this point, nothing too much else going on especially with the ones that are pretty much finishing up the flowering stage. So it's kind of just a waiting game at this point, and yeah I'll be back in another 24 hours later of course for your next update. And in the meantime just make sure your temperature and your humidity or staying on point because you don't want any drastic changes happening in the tent!

Alright guys we are back for day 5 of week 9 and the Tangerine Dream here in the back right is getting a lot of nice Bud development as of the last few days here. So just wanted to give you guys a close up on that and I just wanted these guys I think it was yesterday, with their plane pH watering so they are all still really good in terms of that. And no need to water today. But yeah let me show you guys the development we are having over here with the Tangerine Dream in the back right. So you can see those white hairs are mostly curled in at this point and have oranged, but they still have a couple white ones up top there but you can see it's getting real Frosty. And like this main Cola right here it is getting really dense and is fattening up way nicely on the underside of the canopy here. So really excited for this growth, this recent growth and sometimes you'll notice with Bud growth. And here's the Tangerine Dream in the front.

Sometimes you'll notice with Bud growth that it kind of comes in spurts, so maybe you'll notice your buds aren't growing very much for a few days or a few weeks, and then all the sudden you'll have a couple days of massive bud growth. And that is just depending on the Strain and the genetics, some are consistent and grow a lot or just grow a consistent amount each day. And I would say that the blue Amnesia is definitely grew like that because it was a noticeable amount each day, and then with this Tangerine Dream strain it definitely seems like it comes and goes and kind of spurts. So here is your guys day 5 update, no need to water like I was saying, next watering will be a nutrient feeding but I will give you an update on that when it is time.

I almost forgot to mention that we are getting pretty close here with harvesting the blue Amnesia plants. We have been flushing for about a week now and I may go another half week to a full week I'm not really sure. Because they are coming out really nicely and are just about at that sweet spot for harvesting. So I'll be finishing for sure this week with the flush and then I will be reevaluating the blue amnesia's, so maybe harvesting at next week's video. Or I guess I will be back in another 24 hours per day 6 of the week, peace!

What up peeps we are back for day 6 of the week, and the plants are ready for their next watering so it's going to be the continued flush for the blue Amnesia is here and then the Tangerine dreams are ready for their nutrients feeding.  This will actually be the last nutrients feeding for the grow, and then I will start flushing the Tangerine dream's as well. So in today's video I'm not going to show you guys the nutrients feeding just because you guys have seen me do it so many times before, but I will show you the mix I am using. And then we will check out the trichomes on the Tangerine Dream plants, so I can show you how they look or what signified to me that they are ready to start their flush just about.

Alright so first let's check out the feeding schedule I will be using for today, I will be following the week 10 mix on the fox farm Dirty Dozen schedule, so you'll see I've got three teaspoons of the Big Bloom, 2 teaspoons of the tiger bloom, three of the bembe and then .25 of the Cha Ching. So it's a pretty simple one, and then I pH at 6.3 of course, and I will be doing this one at full strength since the last one, and don't forget about that cal-mag with 1 teaspoon per gallon of water as that is really important also. So there is the feeding schedule, pH it at 6.3 and then it's just going to be playing pH watering from now on since I'm just flushing these blue and he's your plants up here and back here.

All right guy so I've got the macro lens on my iPhone so now let's get a close-up on this trichomes, on the Tangie dream in the front. Again this is the main Cola or main Bud up top in the middle or that main cola if you will, let's see if I can get a steady shot it's kind of hard with the fans going. But you will notice almost all of the hair is have curled in and turned orange, so that is one sign that is getting close to full maturity, and then of course just looking at this trichomes to see that they are all milky and then some are starting to get Amber. It looks like we are getting that because I am seeing that in the steadier shot here.  It's a little bit lighter on that Amber side it's not quite the 5% that I like, but these buds have been in flour for a long time for autoflowers, so I'm going to wrap this one up and get her flushed pretty soon. So I will be doing that final nutrient feeding today, And then next week is when I will do that Sledgehammer flush to kick off that two-week or one-and-a-half weak flush for the Tangerine Dream Autos. So there is that big bud in the front there and then in the back there is that guy is well.

What up Growers so we are back here for the last day of week 9, and the plants are looking amazing as always! So at this point they grow series I'm pretty much just going to be flushing the plants, since we did the last nutrients feeding there for the Tangerine Dream as I mentioned. And it's just going to be flashing these guys for the next week or week and a half for the Tangerine Dream and I'll be doing it a few days in the next week for the blue amnesia's and then I'll be harvesting them. But yeah that is pretty much going to be it for this gross Series so the bud will develop a little bit further for the remainder of this video series, but it's mainly like I keep saying just going to be me flushing the nutrients out of there, so we get a nice healthy bud to smoke. And it's also going to taste a lot better, so that is you know the importance of flushing when you are in soil or some sort of Coco choir like medium. You want to flush it because that gets them nutrients out of the plant and there is actually a build up in there overtime just because you know you are constantly feeding it those different supplements. So flushing that out makes it so you don't have to smoke Does nutrients and it  makes for a much tastier bud! So I am thrilled with how this blue Amnesia is coming out, it is just super Frosty and smells amazing, they all smell really Citrusy, especially this Tangerine dream's because it's got those Tangi genetics in it.

This guy back here I swear, I had had my hands on it was just kind of touching the buds and smelling them up close and afterwards I was like I was just peeling an orange or something, it was a strong fruity smell and I love it when it smells like that! So really stoked like I am staying on the progress of these Buds and how they are coming out over all. Very excited to start harvesting them next week as well. Next week will be the last week for the blue amnesia's and then the week after that will be the final week of the grow for the Tangerine Dream, and then I will have some videos on the harvesting as well as the curing and drying process. And here's just a good close-up for you guys on the main Cola there of that Tangerine Dream. And then let's see I'll try and get one more good close-up to see if you guys can see those trichomes and just how dense they are, it's a shield of Frost! Nice aerial view for you guys, alright peace guys!

Alright GreenBox Growers that concludes week 9 of the low stress training Autoflower grow series. And like I was saying I will be back for week 10 where I will be starting the flush for these Tangerine Dream plants, and I will be finishing up the flush for the blue amnesia's and harvesting them in this coming week.  all right guys so as always if you enjoyed the video, please smash that thumbs-up button and don't forget to comment below with your feedback. Also feel free to subscribe to the GreenBox Grown Channel and a turn on the notifications for updates on my latest grows. As always thank you guys for watching and until next time…

Week 8 of the Low Stress Training Autoflower Grow Series: Start of Flush

Week 8 of the Low Stress Training Autoflower Grow Series: Start of Flush

Start of Flush for the Blue Amnesia Autos

What Up GreenBox Growers and welcome back to the most lit cannabis grow Channel on YouTube! Now today officially starts week 8 of my low stress training Autoflower grow series and I'm going to continue showing you guys updates on those buds as well as showing you guys the watering schedule with the nutrients, so for those of you who aren't following along you can continue to do so. This week I'm also going to start showing you the trichomes under the scope, that way you guys can see what the trichomes look like at the different levels of maturity and can also know what to look for when it's ready for flush as well as harvest.

Now before I get started with this week video I want to let you guys know I'm offering a free trial to my one-on-one grow guidance, and basically if you are struggling to grow your own plants at home or want to learn how to do so and don't know where to begin, the service is perfect for you because I will personally help you over the phone telling you exactly what to do. And I will also guide you from seed to harvest making sure that everything goes well for you. I also want to remind you guys to check out our MERCH and Smoke Gear on the website, and now that you guys know what we are doing and today's video, let's get started!

Alright guys we are outside here in the garage for the first day of the week here and I'm going to give you another update on the buds. I just watered last night with the second playing pH watering since their last nutrient feeding, so no need to water today but I will be checking the try comes today on both plants and the front just to give you guys an idea of how they are looking right now.  So buds are fattening up on all plants especially the Tangerine Dreams now that they are turning back on and catching back up to those Blue Amnesias. The Blue Amnesias are just about ready to start that flush maybe a couple more days to about a week we will see that once I check them with the trichomes here.

But yeah you can see all of the buds are fattening up and smelling really great, which obviously you can't smell them but you can take my word for it they do smell really good right now. Very citrusy and just very potent. All right so what I am going to be using today is my macro lens, and this is just really cool because it Clips right on to the phone over the lens and then works perfectly for looking at this trichomes. So let's get that on there and it's going to be a little blurry until we get close up. But first I will be looking at the trichomes on my tangerine dream that I have here on the front so this is going to be that but at the very top in the middle. That big main Cola. So here we are.

And it's probably going to be kind of hard at normal speed to tell the color of those trichomes, let me try to find a branch that isn't swaying as much but I will also slow down and give you guys a little slow mo clip here in a second. From what I can see though no Amber mainly milky with some clear possibly. But very dense and they are packing on densely which is good. Before I show you  guys the truck comes on the blue Amnesia one thing I would like to say is only check at the trichomes that are directly on the buds. Not the ones that are on the sugar leaves because the ones on the sugar leaves will a mature a lot faster and Amber a lot more quickly than the ones on the bus so they are not a really good indicator of the level of maturity for the buds.

So what I am looking for is about 10 to 15% Amber which is then at that point when I start my 2-week flush. and that usually works out to making it so that the  trichomes are about 25 to 35% And then the rest of course being milky. So that's the issue I'm going for of course but it's really up to you guys and your preference, but that's what I seem to really like and it seems really to work really well for me. So let me get this lens back on and we will look over here at the trichomes on the blue Amnesia. And again this is the one in the front, the front or right and I'm going to check that big bud that main big Cola in the middle. There we go, look at that, I mean you can really see how dense those trichomes are packed on and and kind of hard for me to tell but I think I am seeing some Amber and there but we will know once I do the slo-mo. Yeah I do think I say some Amber though.

All right guys so there is your first look at the trichomes on these guys, and I will continue updating you every couple days as they don't change very much from day to day in terms of their maturity. But I will keep you guys posted on how those are going and will let you know once they are ready to start that flush. All right I will be back in 24 hours per day 2 of the week, peace!

Alright I'm going to give you guys some slow-mo shots on those trichomes, so let's see if that helps you guys.

All right guys we are back here for the second day of the week, and the plants are actually ready or their next watering and that's going to be their third plane pH watering since their last nutrients feeding. I've got that all mixed up right here, and so I checked out the trichomes yesterday and showed you guys that and actually the blue Amnesia are ready to start flushing. So what I will do is after this water and since it will be the third, I will start the flush with the sledgehammer flush buy Fox Farm, and then after I do that I will just do the two weeks of playing at pH water for the blue amnesia's. And then once that is done they will be ready for Harvest. Now the way I determined if they are ready is by the color of their trichomes, and I like to harvest around 25 to 30% amber so that means I start my flash once those Amber trichomes are at about 5 to 10%. So that is what I've got and I will show you guys another close up today on the trichomes.

The Tangerine Dream plant still have a few weeks to go since they were slow down by the lights stress, so looking at their trichome summer to starting to turn milky and most are still clear which means they still have some time to go but that is all right. So now let me just show you guys the close up on those try come. And I won't be showing you guys the watering today just because it's the same as always but I would like to let you guys know that I am using exactly a gallon per plant and that is just about the right amount for them. So just to let you guys know that is how much water they are getting.

Alright so, let me just get a close-up steady view of this for you guys. And you should be able to see there are a decent amount of Amber and there may be a little bit more than 5 or 10% but that is all right. Now let me show you some of the lower but here, it's kind of moving around from the breeze but that's all right. And then I want to show you guys what they look like on the less mature buds of the Tangerine Dream. So you can see they are a little more on the clear side, there are some Amber but those are just really burnt from the light stress.

But one way you can really tell got this plant is still got some time to go as those white hairs that are still kind of growing out. Once those kind of brown and curled in that's how you know it's a little further along.  Kind of like these blue amnesia's here, you can see all of the hairs are curled in the buds are really fat and plump, they are not kind of like opened up like this one, they are kind of close to us. So that is kind of how you can tell as well.  Alright guy said that is it for your day 2 of week 8 update, and I will of course be back in another 24 hours.

What Up GreenBox Growers and welcome back for day 3 of week 4. Now all of these buds here are really starting to fatten up here on the Tangerine dream's, both plants that is, really filling out nicely so I'm stoked on that. the smell is really strong in here and very potent, I mean I could smell it through the chance even with the filter going right now, and I like I said yesterday after checking the trichomes  I am going to start flushing the blue Amnesia plants once they are ready for their next watering so I will start that with the foxfarm sledgehammer flushing agent. And then the next watering for the Tangerine dreams will be there nutrients feeding since they are ready for nutrients and not ready to be flushed yet. So nothing really else yet to be doing to the plants except for making sure that temperature and humidity is at the same level around 55 50 to 55% for humidity and then for temperature I'm saying around you know 67 to 77° Fahrenheit during the day maybe a little warmer and then at night a little on the cooler side.

Alright guys I also just wanted to give you guys your daily close up on the butt so you can see how they have grown since yesterday. So this one right here this is that Tangerine Dream plant in the front, this is just one of those side colas, let's see I can get it to focus there you go. And then of course in the middle here is that a big Cola going all the way to the top. Starting to look really nice. So You guys already know what the blue amnesia's look like since I'm always doing close-ups on those but I want to show you guys the other Tangerine Dream here towards the back. You can see it's got the big main Cola here with a lot of other side colas. And they are all actually really fattening up underneath the canopy as well not just above. You can see that main Cola let's see here is some good growth going all the way up and down. Damn. All right guys show that is your day 3 of the week update on these buds.

Alright guys we are back for the next day which is day 4 of week 8, and the plants are ready for their next watering so it's going to be a little bit of a different set of this time around since the blue in the years are now ready to flush. So I'm going to be doing that next nutrient feeding for the Tangerine dream's which will be the week 9 nutrient feeding here. On the foxfarm schedule as we have been following. Let's see, yes a week 9 right there and I will be following that mix for the Tangerine Dream nutrient feeding.

And then of course I will be doing it at 75% strength this time and then with the Cal Mag as well at .75 teaspoons per gallon of water. Again I'm mixing up about 2 gallons of the nutrient mix since I'm watering about a gallon per plant here. They really do need that much. And then for the blue Amnesia plants I'm going to be using this Sledgehammer flush right here to start flushing them or at least start the flush, and this mix helps release the extra nutrients And fertilizers that are left behind in the soil, so that once I start flushing with a plain pH water that stuff is already broken up and we'll get out of that really easily.

So they recommend two teaspoons per gallon of water and I'm going to be giving a gallon of this mix to each of the Blue Amnesias so I mixed up two gallons total and that's what I'm going to show you guys today is me watering them. I won't be showing you guys the nutrient feeding just because you've already seen that before and it's just going to be the same mix, but you guys haven't seen me do the flushing with the SledgeHammer before. So now that you are flashing you will want to get more runoff than you have been this entire grow, because you are literally doing just that, flushing all of the nutrients and fertilizers that were left behind in the soil you are flushing all of those out right now so that when you go to smoke the bud you don't have to be smoking those nutrients left behind. Because that is going to taste really harsh and it's also very unhealthy to be smoking that. So this is going to help flush that out so you're going to have a much healthier better-tasting bud and just higher-quality.

Now it's always I'm just going to water a little at a time and then I will let it soak in and then give it some more, but like I was saying, you really want to get a good amount of runoff I'm talking like 30 to 35% here. So again I use a wet vac to vacuum up the runoff, Way easier that way but some people like to just dump it out by pulling the mat Out Underneath, but that's kind of a hassle so I just do what the wet vac. So there's that first soaking and I'm already getting some run off so I'll probably give more than that since I've only done about three-quarters of a gallon, I'll finish the rest of that gallon for this plant. And then I'm going to water the rest of them.

Real quick before I go and give you guys an update on the Tangerine Dream buds. Definitely still growing and tons of those white hairs that are still filling out and growing up now that the lights have been adjusted. Same with the back plant here and you can see how much they fattened up over the week. And then same with all of those different colors that are now growing on the Tangerine Dream here. Trying to get a good close-up so I'm trying to get this light in there. So there is a decent close up for you guys. Damn, alright so there's a good close-up for you guys, you can see It's getting Frosty are the hairs are filling out and the buds are getting much fatter.

What up Growers we are back another 24 hours per day five of the week. The blue Amnesia plants have responded really well to that first flushing with a sledgehammer, now of course those Tangerine Dream buds are still really fattening up and it seems like since yesterday with that nutrients feeding, growth has even sped up more. So you can see I am going to try and give you a good aerial view of the buds, but you can see there are tons of them and you can notice they are starting to connect. Like at the top main Cola is here connecting down to those next sets of buds and hopefully it will continue to do so down. And it's been doing so a little bit on these other touch but not much so probably going to be a couple of different nugs throughout these different branches. But you can see the Tangerine Dream in the back right here those buds seem to be connecting a lot further down the branch Kind of like how I main Cola should.

So these are really nice and I'm happy with how they turned out, they'd actually turned a good purple color and I don't think Tangerine Dream normally does that so that's probably just from some of the stress but who knows. And you can see the white hair still standing up really tall so that is a good sign that we still have a lot of growth in the bud development to go. So here's another close-up on that Tangerine Dream main Cola in the front here, and again just maintaining proper humidity and temperature levels and making sure fresh air Is being cycled into the tenant and that there is a constant Breeze very mellow and gentle breeze going through the plants. You can see there's a lot of white hair still in the Tangerine Dream plant here as well. So a lot of development but still really Frosty already. Alright guys so that is your day 5 update for week 8 and I will be back of course in another 24 hours for day 6 of the week.

What up GreenBox Growers we are back 24 hours later, for day 6 of the week and the plants not actually ready for their next watering just yet they are still pretty moist and the soil. And I think that is because it's been a little colder out weather wise and Northern California lately so they haven't really been drinking as much because of that. Buds are still filling out nicely and all plants and again the blue Amnesia is here are flushing or I am flushing them at the moment, so once that's done I will be harvesting them. And this Tangerine Dream and the back isn't too far away from that process either. Probably the middle of next week or after this week I'd say after this week it's probably going to be another half of a week to a full week before I start the flush. And then two weeks probably for the Tangerine Dream in the front to finish or at least be ready for flush. So I'll probably have to water them sometime tomorrow earlier in the day. Because They are getting close to being dry enough but they aren't really there yet. So I will be back for that watering and day 7 of this week. All right, peace guys!

Alright Growers here we are for the last day of week 8 and we are out here in the garage for the Autoflower tent. And these autoflowers are ready for their next water and so it's going to be a plain pH watering at 6.3 as a usual. Now I'm flushing the Blue Amnesia plants still So that's going to be the same for them but I'm going to really soak them, and then the Tangerine dream's I'm not flushing yet so they will still get a couple more nutrient waterings in there, but they are still on the plane pH water so that's what I will be giving them as well today.

But are also really starting to fatten up and get even denser with trichomes as I'm going to show you right now, and you can see just how much the Tangerine Dream plants are fattening up even just sent the last clip and in last week's video. But the blue Amnesia is here like I keep saying are really getting looking really good and it this in my opinion is like dispensary grade cannabis. So let's see if I can get a good shot for you guys so you can see Exactly what I'm talking about. Keep it nice and steady for you but you can see how Frosty and how dense those trichomes are on there. Now the bud itself didn't get that big but the bed itself is really fat as frick. And you can see it's got a couple other little Colas coming off of there, they are pretty small too but this big main one here is really nice and they smell great. And the one in the back the other blue Amnesia Bud's got just as big and this one might actually yield some more because all of the coal is actually got really big.

But they're all nice and Frosty and just the same kind of quality and same look as the blue Amnesia in the front. There's a good kind of zoomed out picture, but yeah you guys will get the picture on how Frosty they are once I have trimmed them up. Oh and that's another thing I wanted to point out to you guys as I started to pull & Defolate these plants as the leaves start to die off. I just clipped them off if they are hard to reach to the stem. Like ones like this I'll just clip them off, but ones like this where I can get to the stem like this one if you guys can see that guy back there. You can tell it's yellow and the tips are curled up and crispy so I'm just going to yank her up gently. And that's done. And just toss that, pretty cool looking Leaf right there but yeah those aren't going to help anymore the plant is done with them, so that is why when you pull ever-so-slightly it just comes right off like it was already detached from the plant.

So yours are good close up on the Tangerine Dream Bud here in the front and you can see it's pretty Frosty, not as much as the blue Amnesia that's for sure and not his dance either but that is mainly because of the shock from the light that died did. The ones in the back that I did I really fattening out nice though the Tangerine dreams you can see. And that's a good example of some more leaves I'll be pulling off in a little bit here after this video, but yeah these buds are a little more darker in color.  It's not really like a purple or anything it's just like a dark green maybe a little bit of purple in there, but I don't think that's a genetic quality I think that's just more from the stress. But who knows. You can see that the pistols are still standing up and are white for the most part so that's how I know I've got some time to go.

Alright Growers that officially concludes the eighth week of my low stress training Autoflower grow series. And as we are starting to wrap up this whole grow, I just wanted to mention that I am going to mainly be flushing the plants for the rest of this series, The Tangerine Dream Autos still have a couple nutrient feedings to go, but for the most part everything is going to be getting flushed and then prepped for Harvest, so let's get excited for that Harvest video that will probably be coming out in a few weeks. I just have to finish developing does Tangerine Dream buds of course as well as finishing flushing everything and then I will be harvesting.

Before I go I would like to remind you guys to smash that thumbs-up button if you enjoyed the video, and as always please leave a comment below with your feedback for suggestions for future videos you would like to see. How and When to Properly Flush your Cannabis Plants

How and When to Properly Flush your Cannabis Plants

Flush your Cannabis Plants for Best Results!

What’s up cannabis growers, my name is Dylan and welcome back for another episode of GreenBox Grown!  Today I will be explaining how and why you should flush your plants right before harvest, and will also give you a demonstration of me flushing out my plants.  Flushing is one of the most important processes in growing quality bud, and it is the process of actually flushing out anything that has been left behind in your plants and soil from the nutrients you used to grow.  In the end, you have a much smoother, better tasting smoke which isn't full of harmful chemicals!  So now that you now why we flush the plants, lets go see how it’s done.

Alright so here are the plants we will be flushing, 4 blue dreams which I SCROGed and Lollipoped below right before flower.  Now most people say flush for 5-10 days, but I always push for 2 weeks and I highly recommend you do that as well.  You really want to get all those nutrients and anything else left behind in your buds, out of there!  If you’ve ever smoked unflushed bud then you’ll know why.  If not, let me explain.  The smoke tastes horrible and is extremely harsh!  It’s really an unpleasant experience, plus it can be very unhealthy smoking those chemicals left behind from the nutrients.  There’s a really cool way to tell if the weed you are smoking has been flushed properly besides those.  After smoking the bud, look at the color of the ash.  If it is white, then it was properly flushed, and if it is black or dark, then that means the weed wasn't flushed enough or at all!

So now that you understand why were are flushing these plants, it’s time to discuss when it should be done!  This is very important because you want the flush to finish right when your buds are ready to be harvested, so timing is key.  Also, I always recommend starting earlier than later with the flush, because you can always extend it if the plants aren't ready after 2 weeks.  If you wait too long, then the buds may be over developed by the time the flush is finished.  And of course that isn't the end of the world because the buds will still be smokeable, I am more just talking about the optimal way of doing this!

So as you can see we are looking at the trichomes for making this decision as they are what I use for making the final decision of when to harvest.  I find that over 2 weeks time the trichomes become 15-20% more amber.  For example, I like to harvest at 25% amber, so I start my flush at around 5-10% amber because it will change close to 20% during the flush.  And here in this shot you can see we are just in that 5-10% range of amber so we are going to start flushing.  Just a quick reminder to always check the buds and not the sugar leaves when looking at trichomes, as sugar leaves mature much faster than buds and aren't an accurate indicator.

Since it is time to start the flush, I am going to wait until the plants are ready for another watering and at that point I will provide them with a flushing agent.  A flushing agent is something that comes with most nutrient packs and is just a mix you add to water and then feed to your plants at the very start of your flush.  It helps dissolve and release everything out of your soil and plants so when you start with the plain pH’d watering, it washes out much more easily!  I am using the Fox Farm Sledge Hammer flush as it came with my Dirty Dozen Nutrient Kit, and I will be mixing 2 tsp per gallon.

These plants are pretty large so I am giving each one about a gallon to a little over.  Also, you can using flushing agents over the course of your grow to help prevent a build up of nutrients.  I do a short flush every month and a half or so and have found it to help with plant health a lot!  When watering try to get about 10-15% runoff out the bottom before finishing!

You will still want to wait for the soil to dry properly before watering again, so that is what I am doing in this shoot.  The soil is still too wet, but once it dries up I will be doing the first plain pH’d watering of this flush.  That will be all these plants get for the rest of the grow as well.  On these close ups you can see how frosty the buds are, and over the period of this flush you will notice them fatten up some more.

A couple days later, and the soil is now ready for more water.  I will be mixing at a 5.8 pH since I am growing in coco coir, and I am using about 1 and a half gallons per plant.  You really want to flush them out good so try to get 15-20% runoff with each watering from here on out.  Be sure to soak all parts of the soil and don't leave anything out.  This process seems easy and not super critical, but if done properly it can really take your bud to that next level of quality!  And here’s a great shot of the buds so you an see how big they are getting.

Here we are 2 weeks later and the flushing is now complete.  Before I harvest however, I’m going to check out the trichomes just to make sure they have developed enough.  I said my goal was to harvest at 25% amber and it looks like they are right around that level of development!  Again, remember to focus on the buds and not the sugar leaves for making this decision.  Since the trichomes are where I want them, I’m going to begin the harvesting process with these plants.

Alight guys, so that’s everything you need to know about flushing your cannabis plants before harvest!  Remember, the best way to tell if it has been properly flushed is by the ash test.  If after smoking the ash turns white, then the plants were properly flushed.  If the ash is black or some sort of dark color, then the plants weren't flushed at all or just needed to be flushed for longer.  Also, remember how important it is to time the start of your flush by the development of the trichomes, as you don't want to be harvesting late, overdeveloped buds!  As always, thank you for watching and until next time…
