Week 7 Veg for the Agent Orange Beginner Grow!
What up GreenBox Growers and welcome back for week 7 of vegetation for Cody's beginner agent orange grow series! Hey guys so we are going to be starting the week off or something pretty exciting actually, we are bringing in the new light. So this is the 600 watt spider farmer LED and we need this just because we need a bigger footprint and more power on the plants because certain parts of the plants are getting a little shaded now as they are getting bigger.
So we just need to upgrade the size of our plants and say goodbye to the Canna grow Cre Cob as it has served us well. Today I am going to be giving a nutrient feeding to the plants as they need it and then this week we are going to be looking for a good feeling of the scrog. We want those lower tops to be coming up and in fact I can already see that some of them already have they are just not yet at this garage yet.
But that should happen this week. Yeah it should at least get most of the scrog filled this week if not all of it, and one thing we forgot to mention for the spider farmer. That is actually made by MEIZHI, it is just a separate side brand that they have going. And what is really cool about this light is it has two adjustable knobs for controlling the power of the light as well as the ratio of the colors I believed. We will be testing that out in this videos though. So now do you guys know we're doing in this week's video let's get started day one of the week!
Hey guys here we are for the first day of the week, so here is our spider farmer 600w LED, we are going to go ahead and get that hung up and I think we are going to put it at 50% for power. But we will see once we get it up and once the power is on, what 50% looks like.
We are going to be doing a nutrient feeding today, we are doing a full-strength and we will be doing a full gallon, we are doing full strength of the week four vegetative mix for the fox farm feeding schedule. And we will add a full teaspoon of cal-mag to that as well. So it is a full gallon mix between two plants.
And we will do some LST today as well so the plants have had some time to rest so we will do LST. And then we will do a misting and shake the tnb naturals canister as well. So that will do it for today guys it is a busy one, then we will see you tomorrow for day 2!
Hey guys welcome back to the agent orange grow series, it is the second day of the week and as you can see the plants are responding really well to the new 600w spider armor LED. You can see the lower canopy is super full the coloration of the leaves is perfect, the leaves look really crisp and thick and healthy and almost all of the tops or even at the scrog.
Now granted all of that is not credited to the new light, but they just seem a little better than yesterday. They look really good! Now the soil is still a little moist so no watering today, but we need to give the plants a rest so No LST today. We've already shaking it but don't forget to shake your TNB Naturals CO2 canister call my dad is really important to do and it is much better to do earlier in the day as well. And then of course, we will give the plants a misting just so we can maintain that 60 to 65% humidity range.
Cool, and lastly we've got our misting done and I just want to let you guys know that because the plan oh, that is really important to do and it is much better to do earlier in the day as well. And then of course, we will give the plants a misting just so we can maintain that 60 to 65% humidity range.
Cool, and lastly we've got our misting done and I just want to let you guys know that because the plants seems to be liking that light so much we are going to raise it 5% while it's not really 5% but we are going to raise it one click or one little dot on each dial. And that's the red dial and then the blue and white light dial. Two different dials. So just one click on each. Alright guys that does it for today and we will see you tomorrow for day 3!
Hey guys welcome back to the Agent Orange grow series, plants are really pushing through the scrog nicely, and I am very happy with them at the moment, I'm liking this new light a lot and sense the plan are responding well to the increasing power we will go ahead and increase it one more click today we will just do the blue and white dial.
That is because the red dial that kind of light red light, is more suited for the flowering stage so we will leave that be until flowering. We of course want to shake our TNB Naturals CO2 canister, I have already done so this morning just because I like the CO2 to be released in the mornings so they get the benefits of it all day.
But just wanted to remind you, the soil is pretty dry today so we are going to water. It is going to be our first plain water since the last nutrients feeding which was just the day before yesterday which is crazy because they are drinking water really fast now. And we will do some LST today as well, and then to finish them off we will be doing a quick misting.
And for the watering guys, just to remind you we are going to be doing a whole gallon split between these two plants and is just plain old water. Okay that does it for today guys and we will see you tomorrow for day 3!
Hey guys, welcome back to the agent orange grow series. So it is the fourth day of the week and as you can see the plants are really filling out the scrog nicely. There is a lot of really nice growth going and lower canopy and they are all almost up to the scrog the top. So that was really nice, today we are not going to be doing a whole lot. We are going to be shaking the CO2 canister as usual and I did that earlier today.
We will be doing a misting of course I'll let me get that taken care of and we will be raising the blue and white dial on this light all the way to 100%. We will leave the red dial where it is for now until flower. Okay so let's get that dialed turned all the way up to 100%, alright that does it for today you guys we will see you tomorrow for day 5!
Hey guys welcome back to the agent orange grow series, it is day five of the week and we have had a really productive day today. We first defoliated the plants with about 15 to 20% of their leaves. We were focusing on bigger leaves as well as ones that were hanging over other leaves and then ones that were in the lower canopy and were kind of drooping and had some redening on their stem as well. Those were the ones we were looking for today, we also did a plain watering.
This was the second plain water in since our last nutrient feeding, and then we should go our TNB Naturals CO2 canister and then lastly we did a quick misting on our plants. That is all we did today, our watering of course with a gallon split between the two plants. Our light is now operating at 100% on the blue and white dial since yesterday, and yeah so that does it for today you guys and we'll see you tomorrow for day 6!
Hey guys, welcome back to the agent orange Grow Series it is the sixth day of the week and we are having a nice simple day today. So is always just go ahead and Shake That TNB Nautrals CO2 canister. We're going to go ahead and check out the plants as you can see these ones are looking really good, they are filling up the scrog almost completely now.
All of the tops are almost evenly up there to the scrog so I am very happy with the results so far. And then we are also going to be doing a very mild watering today because I did notice the soil was a little dry so we will be splitting about a bottles worth or like a spray bottles worth between the two plants.
And that is just to keep the soil from drying out too much in between waterings. But it does seem like we are coming up on watering almost everyday now. So that will do it, we are not going to do a misting today, as we are getting closer to flower we want to cut a start weaning off of the misting. But that will do it for today day 6, and then we will see you guys back tomorrow for the last day of this week!
Hey guys, welcome back to the agent orange grow series, it is the last day of this week and today we have to do a few things. So for one we are going to be replacing our TNB Naturals CO2 canister or rather refilling it. To do so just empty it out, give it a quick rinse and then fill it with one of these packets just the entire thing. And then a liter of lukewarm water, give it a shake and you are good to go again.
And then today we will be doing another watering as the plants are looking really thirsty so we will be doing a full gallon and this is going to be our third plain watering since our last nutrients feeding. So we will split that gallon between these two plants. And then just a very light misting today, as we get closer to flower we do not want to be keeping the humidity too high anymore, so we will just do a light misting. No LST today, all right that does it for this week you guys and we will see you on Monday tomorrow for a whole new week.
Alright GreenBox Growers, that officially concludes week 7 of the agent orange beginner grow series! So as we get the plants a little more adjusted to the new light, and they get over the fact that they just had that defoliation. We are hoping to see some good new vegetative growth in this next week. I really think they are going to take off in a second here, I think they are on kind of a little bit of a slow point just cuz they're getting used to all of these new things. The ones they are over that stress, I think they are really going to blow up. Yep and again we will be back shortly with the week 8 of vegetation video so in the meantime, thank you guys for watching this week's video. We really appreciate it, and until next time…
