Week 1 of Flower

What up GreenBox Growers, and welcome back to the most lit cannabis growing Channel! Not today kicks off Week 1 of flour for the cloning and mother plant Grove series, which is also week 12 of the overall grow so we will be going over all of the changes that I have made and the different steps that you should be taking out of the plants are in flower. And I also switched up the lighting schedule so it is now 12 hours on and 12 hours off for each day. So while we have flipped the plants over into flower, there is a little bit of a transitional phase where they need to kind of get started with that bud development.

So we may see some pistols starting to form during the course of this week but probably not too much change in terms of Bud growth, until starting next week. Or even the middle or end of week 2 of flower. So before I get started with today's video if you are following along with these videos and you feel you need a little bit more help, I do offer one-on-one grow guidance where I myself personally teach you over the phone each day how to grow. So if you want to learn more about that just feel free to visit the link right here on the screen and you can see more details on that page. All right folks, so now that you know we are doing in this week's video let's get started with day 1 of the week!

Alright GreenBox Growers, here we are out in the garage for the very first day of flower for the mother plant and  cloning Grow video series. And again this is the first day of week 12 overall for the grow. So the Clones are ready for their next watering which is just going to be there third plane pH watering and I will probably be splitting about two two two and a half gallons between the five of these plants. Now I just want to emphasize how great the vegetative growth has been Since I defoliate it and trimmed them up.

You can see all that is really left now or some nice tops that are going to have some nice big buds growing on top of them instead of a bunch of fan leaves that are really just going to be blocking lower parts of the plants. So you can see they all have that kind of star shape going on a different tops coming out and then that big name one in the middle so, I'm hoping maybe an ounce per one of these clones or per each of these clones so a total of 5 ounces from the clowns and then maybe two to three plus Oz from the mother plant.

So now that we are in flower as I was mentioning earlier, the lights are on the 12 12 cycle so they turn on for 12 hours each day and Then 12 hours of complete darkness. And during that darkness. Is extremely crucial that no light leaks in to the tent because that can disturb the plants, and cause issues with the quality and yield of your bud. So that is one thing that is really important, the next thing is the light, so if your light does have an option where it has different switches for the different cycles of growth, you want to turn on that bloom one during this period.

So you want the bloom and the vegetative dials on now, and you will see when I have the lights on I'm running both of these for the Mars hydro. And then of course for the bloom Beast here, you will see was not on right now but when it is I have the seedling dial on 100% as well as the dial on at 100% And I am starting with the flower Dylon at about 20%. So the flower dial is now on as well for this light hear the bloom beast, and I will be working it up to 100% hopefully pretty quickly here.

So no more missing at this point as well for these plants as that is really important, some people like to missed during the first couple weeks of flower which is not an issue but I just like to prevent any possible issues with mold so that is why I hold off once I flipped a flower. Now that is it for today's update I'm going to water the Clones now with that plane pH water and then I will be back here in 24 hours for day 2 of the week.  Alright, peace guys!

What is a Growers we are back here now for day 2 of flower which is also day 2 of week 12, and the mother plant is now ready for her next watering. So that's going to be her first playing pH watering since her last nutrient feeding. Now, I kept the light on today just to give you guys a different look with the LEDs going now that they do have those flower switches turned on. And another thing I would like to mention today is actually there will be more defoliation going on throughout flower it's just going to be a little bit here and there at leaves grow out and cover up different Bud sites.

So right now everything is looking good in terms of growth, no big fan leaves protruding over Bud sites at the moment. So will not be moving anything just yet. But just wanted to keep you guys up to date on that so you guys know when there are some leaves growing over those Bud sites I will trim them up. And it may seem like something that will shock the plant, but now that we are in flower I am just going to be doing a couple leaves here and there at a time and not a whole bunch all at once. So that is important to follow that step because if you do a major defoliation during flower, that can cause some stress and lower yields.

But if you do just like I was saying and you just remove a few leaves here and there throughout the week, you will be good. So that is it for today's update and remember no more misting from here on out, and now I will be doing that plane pH watering for the mother plant. She will probably be getting about a gallon to a gallon and a quarter at this point. Alright guys so I will be back in another 24 hours for day 3 of the week, and until then Happy growing!

Alright growers we are back another 24 hours later for day 3 of the week and the Clones are ready for their next watering. So that is actually going to be there first nutrient feeding since the start of flower, so that means we will be following the first week of flower mix on the fox farm Dirty Dozen schedule. So you will see that is actually week 5 on there, and I will be doing that mix at full strength. Probably going to split about a gallon and a half to 2 gallons total between these five plants here, and then I will also be out in one teaspoon of Cal Mag per gallon of water to that mix. So that is what I will be doing today for the Clones in the mother plant is still good from that last watering.

But you can see her can a PS really thickened up over the last couple days here, so today will also be doing some defoliation on the mother plant and I will show you the results of that tomorrow, but basically what I will be doing is just trimming down in the middle there that is covering up the lower parts of the canopy. Because you can see it has filled up a lot since that last trimming. So again like I was saying before it is going to be a little defoliation here and there throughout flower for both the Clones here and the mother plant, but right now they are pretty good I mean actually they have gotten pretty thick again with foliage so I am probably going to do another trimming towards the end of this week for them. So again I'm doing that first mix of flower nutrients on the fox farm Dirty Dozen for the Clones today and then that is it. So I will be back in another 24 hours for your next day of the week, alright peace guys!

All right it is now day 4 of the week and the mother plant is ready for her next watering, so it is going to be the second plane pH watering. Now tomorrow I'm actually going to be defoliating the Clones like I was doing to the mother plant yesterday, I just wanted to give them a few more days of growth before I did that to them again. But you can see the mother plant is reacting really well to that the foliation I did yesterday and all of the tops are looking nice and upright and All right it is now day 4 of the week and the mother plant is ready for her next watering, so it is going to be the second plane pH watering.

Now tomorrow I'm actually going to be defoliating the Clones like I was doing to the mother plant yesterday, I just wanted to give them a few more days of growth before I did that to them again. But you can see the mother plant is reacting really well to that defoliation I did yesterday and all of the tops are looking nice and upright and perky as usual, and we are going to start seeing some really good bud gross and Pistol development by the end of this week, beginning of next week. Since we are just passing through the transitional phase right now. So I will be back here in 24 hours, I'm going to do that watering for the mother plant right now and then tomorrow once I am back for day 5, we will be doing that defoliation of the clones!

Alright folks we are back here 24 hours later, so that means it is now day 6 of the week. And like I said I will be defoliating those clones today so I will be doing that in just a second to show you what that looks like. But I wanted to let you guys know that for the grill like I do now have it at 100% seedling 100% veg and then for the flowers which I am about 45% in between 45 and 50%. So by tomorrow I will crank her up to 50% because they seem to be handling that strength really well. Not too much in terms of Bud growth just yet but again this is still just Week 1 so that is normal, we are still in that transitional phase and by next week we will definitely see some good bud growth going on at those Bud sites.

So you will see this is the other grow that I have going on right now, and this is just one week ahead in terms of flour when compared to the mother plant and her clones over here. So you can see just how many pistols are  already developing at the bud sites. so that first week it is normal to be kind of slow like this but by the second week you will really start to notice that bud development taking off. So clones are still not ready yet for watering as the soil is still pretty moist but they will probably be ready for that by tomorrow.

And now what I am going to do is the deflation on the clones and I will be back to show the results of that. Now essentially what I'm doing is only removing fan leaves right now and it is going to be the big ones that are covering up a lot of light and shadowing the canopy down below. As well as those leaves that are laying on top of each other because you do not want that during flower. So let me do this trimming and then I will be back to show you the results.

Alright so we are back here after that the foliation is finished on all five of those clones, and you can see there's nothing crazy I just really remove those big fan leaves just to open up the bud sites to more light. And that is pretty much it, took out I mean that is all of the leaves right there that I removed from all five plants and also  something I hadn't mentioned to you guys yet. I keep these leaves and add them to my compost pile because you can add Leaf trimmings and Garden Scraps like that to your compost. So really organic to keep these leaves and add them to the compost if you are doing that, and I also offer some composting videos listed on this site. So be sure to check those out if you are interested. So that is it for the deflation today and as well as update, so I will be back here in another 24 hours for the next day of the week. Alright peace guys!

Alright Growers, we are back here another day later in the plants are looking really good, and the Clones are loving that defoliation that I did yesterday. You can see all of the leaves are standing up nice and perky, and I am seeing a decent amount more of pistols around the main tops or at least early formations of pistols at least. So today the Clones are ready for their next watering, so that's going to be their first plane pH watering since their last nutrient feeding. And they will be splitting about I would say it's going to be two and a half gallons between all 5 plants. So I will be filling up the bucket once maybe once and a half and then using that for all five of the plants.

The mother plant is still good on her watering from before I throw soil is still pretty moist. so nothing for her today, but she is still looking really healthy and is looking really happy as well. Still no Burns were deficiencies anywhere on any of these leave so I'm really happy about that everyone is in perfect health and condition, so really excited that we are wrapping up Week 1 of flower which is really more of a transitional phase because now that means next week we are going to see some really good development at those Bud sites.

So that is it for today's update, I'm going to give the clones they're watering now. One other thing that is really cool as you can see the Clones, they are getting that mean Cola starting to fatten up really nicely. So you can see on all of them that middle main Cola is starting to rise up above the rest of the plant. And it is starting to develop a lot of early signs of Bud growth from top to bottom. So that is going to be a really nice man Cola on all of these clones.

All right folks, we are back again for the last day of week 12 here in the plants are all doing really well. The mother plant was actually ready for her next watering so I gave her her third plane pH watering since that last nutrient feeding. And you can see the Clones are doing really  well now that I've given them that last defoliation. You can see lots of new growth at the bud sites, and then actually on the mother plant here you can see pistols are starting to form there at the center of the tops at the bud site.

So we are pretty much through that transitional phase into flower, and then next week which will be week 2 of flower I think they are going to start really blowing up with pistols at those bud sites! So that is really it for today's update, I gave that plane pH watering to the mother plant and that was really it. Oh actually let me give you guys a quick close up on her stem right there, her main trunk. Just so you can see how big and thick it is getting.

Now even though the side branches coming out there pretty thick but this guy is probably like the thickness of a 50-cent piece. So really big.  All right guys, so that is pretty much it with today's update and that concludes week 12 of this Grow Series, but I will be back shortly with week 13 where I'm excited because we are going to start getting a lot of good bud growth there.

All right GreenBox Growers, that officially concludes week 12 of the how to  clone and grow a mother plant grow series. And also that was  Week 1 of flower so that is more of the transitional phase into the flowering phase. And once we have started week 2 of flower shortly here, we are going to start to see a lot of Bud development and Pistol growth at those Bud sites. So get excited for that there's going to be a lot of change coming up in this next week's video, as always thank you guys for watching and until next time…

Happy Growing!
