Check out my review of the Auto Blue Amnesia Seeds + Germination Tips

What's up Cannabis Growers and welcome back for another episode of GreenBox Grown! As always my name is Dylan, and today I am stoked to share I got hooked up with some free cannabis seeds!!! The Ministry of Cannabis, which I provided a link to their site above, set me up with this Free pack of 7 Blue Amnesia Autoflower seeds so I could try them out. I will be doing a grow up date on these in the future and throughout their grow, but that is a little bit further down the road.

Since I am moving soon, I will not be germinating these seeds in this particular video, but I will be going over some of the germination basics. Visit the link below for our full how to series on Starting from Seed:

The first step in germinating your cannabis seeds, is to put them into a glass of lukewarm water pH'd to be somewhere between 5.5-6.5. I do 5.8 because that is the pH I will be growing the plants at. Once the seeds are in the glass, try to push them to the bottom so they stay there. You may have to come back every few hours to try again if they keep floating back to the top. Leave the seeds in the glass of water for a total of 12-15 hours and then take out. Do not leave for longer than 18 hours of the seeds can become water logged. Also store glass in dark place during soaking phase.

Once the time limit has been reached, pour the seeds out into several folded over paper towels. I usually put them on a shallow bowl and then pour the seeds on top. Make sure the paper towel is completely soaked, and then pour off excess water. Fold the paper towel over the seeds and then store in a warm dark place.

HINT: People find it helps to put the plate of seeds on top of something warm like an electronic or something of that nature. Make sure it does not get too hot, and re wet paper towel as needed. Do not let the paper dry out!!!

After 3-5 days, you will notice the seed crack open and a white tap root will be growing out of it. This is the very first root of your plant, and will eventually turn into a whole network of roots! Once the tap root has reached a length of 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch, it is time to plant.

I take a rapid rooter, soak it in 5.8 pH'd water, and then squeeze. Make sure it is still moist. Then plant the seed into the rapid rooter hole, ROOT POINTING DOWN!!! This is extremely important. Then take a piece of the rapid rooter and cover the top of the hole with it. This is to ensure that no light can reach the seed, which is important as well.

That is all I have to share wth you in regards to germination your seeds, but as I mentioned above, visit this link for the full video series on how to start your cannabis seeds and grow them through the seedling phase:

Happy Growing!
