Chem Doggin' Live Resin Review
What's up cannabis growers and welcome back to GreenBox Grown. As always my name is Dylan and today I'm going to be doing another strain review for you guys and like I mentioned in my most recent video which was the launch of our new starter kits video. I talked about raw garden and their Life Resin that I've been picking up for $15 a half gram. And for you guys who are familiar with Life Resin it's usually about $40 at the cheapest for a half gram. So I'm going to do a little review for you guys on that.
And as I mentioned in my other video I'm going to have a review coming soon on my Bubble Hash machine that I picked up from the Bubble Hash Dude as you can see here. All right, guys, before I get started with my review on this Live Resin I'd also like to mention that if you want to watch my other strain reviews just go to GreenBoxGrown.com and you'll see under the videos tab there will be a strain and product reviews video page. All right, now let's get started.
So the first thing I'm going to do for you guys is give you a little closeup on how this Live Resin looks and again the strain is Chem Doggin'. And I'm going to go into a little more detail on the cross genetics of that strain, as well as how well it grows and stuff like that later in this video. But first I want to give you guys a closeup of not only the Chem Doggin', but also picked up from Fire King some nice hash. So I want to show you guys that, give you a little view. So here's the Chem Doggin' Live Resin.
See here if I can get the light on it a little better. There we go. Yeah, so very golden clear color. This is The Sauce, it comes in a Crystalline form as well. But I just went for the Sauce this time. And then Fire King hash, hopefully I don't spill this. This is just some really nice hash that I picked up. Think it's Bubble Hash, which is what I will show you guys how to make in another video with that machine.
And then I've got here some of the Gorilla Glue #4 by TerpX, it's some shatter, which I'll be doing a video on later as well. I'm not going to bust that out just yet. Now I'm going to show you guys or go over the genetics of the strain. All right, guys, so like I was saying the Chem Doggin' is the strain. And obviously that is a Chem Dog cross. So I've got some -- I pulled up some facts about it here on WeedMaps. And basically Chem Doggin' is an autoflower breed of Chem Dog.
And the way they make it an autoflower is I guess they just breed regular Chem Dog with a Sativa dominant autoflowering strain. So that's the cross of the strain. And then in terms of growing, it's great for growing indoors and outdoors, it's a very high yielder, the plants grow pretty tall and bushy*. They don't stretch a whole lot it says, but it sounds like they grow very well in almost all conditions. Very easy to maintain. And the time to flowering is 63 days. So it's pretty fast. The breeder is Maphisto, I've never heard of them before. And then these seeds are also feminized. So that's lot of info on the Chem Doggin' strain and where this Live Resin came from.
Now let's do the best part of this video which is, of course, testing it out. All right. I'm going to get my dabber, get a nice little chunk. What do you guys think? Is that a good size or should I take a fatter one next time? Let me know in the comments.
That was a little hot. Didn't wait for it long enough to cool off. But still really tasty. I don't know if you guys have had Live Resin before but it's insanely tasty. And this is a Sativa dominant strain, so I already feel the head high. One thing I forgot to mention is the way they make Live Resin is they -- they don't cure or dry the bud after it's harvested. They take it from the plant right away, flash freeze it, and then extract from it and so that's why it's called Live Resin as the plant is essentially frozen in its live state instead of the whole curing and drying process.
So that's the new theory behind making concentrates and they say it helps conserve all of the Terpenes, as well as cannabinoids and taste. So to me it feels really good. It feels like I'm really high from it. So that's always a plus. And definitely recommend it, especially for $15 a half gram. I can't -- I've had the $40 to $50 half gram stuff and you can tell a little bit of a difference but not $30 or $20 worth of a difference.
So definitely worth checking out Raw Garden if you have them at your local dispensary or they carry it at your local dispensary. If not, you should definitely request your dispensary to start carrying them.
All right, folks, that's everything I have to say on the Raw Garden Chem Doggin' Live Resin. And I'll be back shortly with another video review on my Bubble Hash machine, so be on the look out for that. But in the meantime, if you enjoyed the video please give it a thumbs up and comment below with your feedback.
